Sad to see it go. Most of what I know about DVC came from the posts on that site. Sadly, I was too slow to get my trip reports. I had done that back in 21, maybe I can find where I saved them on my old PC. I will especially miss the chart that Micah had set up showing the room info at each resort. Perhaps he can recreate that here.

I am honestly heartbroken by so much because of it too. I had lurked until a stupid issue at another forum with a power hungry owner. Then registered. It was my home for like 15 years. My undying gratitude to them for all they did. And in case people do wonder many of us have tried to reach out since August of 2021 with offers of help. So many of us tried. No one wanted a replacement but here we are. I'm really sorry to those who lost trip reports and such.
One reason we picked this site was if people walk away it won't go away. Unless the platform folds which I doubt lol

It's been down for a recorded 1 day and 20 hours. While it blipped a few times 2 days ago, it solidly went down in the early evening hours and never returned. This made me so sad. I pictured a hospital room with the monitor flat lining. RIP |

MouseOwners was a nice size when I discovered it around 2009. Learned a lot. Lurked for about a year because I discovered it when some posters where creating friction. Once they were banned the site settled down to be a lot of fun while learning. Hopefully this site will continue in that vein.

Joining in the chorus of folks grateful to you, helenabear and your colleagues, for creating magicowners....and in the sadness of seeing MO go down. Absolutely second this! So glad this site came online in record time. Once the spam began to appear on MO I knew the site was on life support. |

I too am wistful. MO and feedback from some people helped inform my first purchase. Many of those were not on MO any more (John from LA, David, a couple of others) but Tom was still there.
