Rock N Roll Coaster will be reopening July 27th!
The theme will still be Aerosmith!
My grandsons were hoping it would be open this weekend. They will have to wait until December now.

Thank You! THANK YOU! This is most welcome news. While I had not seen anything to confirm this, in my mind I feared the long-rumored switch to The Jonas Brothers. Rock and Roll is saved!
Having this open creates one more high-draw attraction in the early opening hours to take some strain off of RotR and SDD.
Cheers.

I feared the long-rumored switch to The Jonas Brothers. What! First I've heard of that! omg that would be...umm... Not related, but I have a secret guilty pleasure of liking it when "mmm-bop" by Hansen comes on in the car. Just between us heh heh heh.

Here's an old story on it
Cheers.

I guess it was a different time. Thinking about it now, are Jonas Brothers still a thing? I see Hannah Montana was also mentioned in that post. Imagine that ride.

This one I couldn’t care less about. But glad others are pleased.

My head can no longer handle RnR. I use to be able to get by with pressing into the support area. Now I always get a headache and feel a bit of nauseous post ride. = Blah, "Geez, the line is really long. We'll check back later."

I haven't ridden in several years. Too bumpy and shaky. Hope they worked on the track some, to make it smoother. I've always liked Aerosmith, but would be totally fine with a complete retheme with Disney music

We'll be next year ourselves. Sadly this is DH's favorite ride and two trips it was out. He won't be back until next year.

Due to motion sickness, have never rode this ride. Glad to hear it is back in action.

I find this similar in some ways to Tron. The very rapid initial acceleration with lots of banking. RnR does have barrel roll inversions not found in Tron, but I do see some similarity. With that said, I do feel queasier after RnR (not enough to avoid riding, but enough to do once) after Tron (none at all and I could get right back on). I do RnR single rider so the line is not usually too long. Tron is a much. RnR is a sometimes.
Cheers.

However, we thought the launch on Tron was much better and a better ride. In many ways they are similar. RnR can cause me phyiscal issues though. Tron not so far.

Is Tron known for motion sickness? This is one ride I want to do next visit.

I would expect few to get nausea from Tron. RnR has 2 loops and 1 corkscrew. EE’s backwards motion in the dark is particularly disorienting and creates problems for many. The lack of visual cues increases the nausea issue.
