Let's just say this was a review for the new LL system. I was interested because HS (and Slinky) is kind-of one of the few reasons I would get it, and I think my wife would be okay paying $15, give or take, to skip the line at Slinky. I just learned that for (insert dollar amount here) I could HOPEFULLY get a LL for Slinky and a couple of fast passes for rides that have five minute waits, and I happen to enjoy those lines. Heck, the queue area for Muppets is just an extension of the show, and the queue for Star Tours has fun stuff to look at. If the LL+ thing was $7.99 I might think about it. Glad to read about the hotel! The LL multi at HS was like $23 each of us. Our refund was like $46. When Muppets reopened and we went in, we just were sent in with the masses so the LL did not benefit there. And as soon as we entered and then waited and waited (about 12 minutes) to be told it broke down again...ugh. But for Star Tours and Muppets, you don't need a LL pass as the standby works. You need the LL pass for Slinky Dog, Buzz Lightyear, the 2 new Star Wars, Runaway Railway and I guess RR and ToT (I have never ridden ToT and won't) and I believe they are all Tier 1 and hard to get more than 1 of those. In fact, by like 10am Buzz was gone for the day...I think it was, maybe Slinky Dog too. We won't do RR or ToT. If we could have rode Buzz and Slinky for the $23 we'd have been pleased but we couldn't get both. If we could have done the Muppets, Star Tours Slinky and then Runaway Railway that too would have been worth the $23. And another issue is the times, they do 1 hour slots and then the times you try to book other rides don't always bump up so you may have a 90 minute gap....to do what, sit in the sun? Or pay the high prices for drinks and food, on top of that $23pp LL pass which is on top of our expensive annual pass. Just not excited about that. I guess we can keep the LL pass on the back burner for when we do friends and family visits to the parks, like with people who aren't able to pop in every week like us. And we will stick with going over to get our steps in and people watch and grab a drink or 2. And to listen to bands at Epcot. Or see the animals at AK.

We did come back tonight. Here now and it is really nice tonight. They have a tuna sushi like thing, a really really good mac and cheese and hearts of palm cakes that remind me of MD crab cakes. I also remembered they have garlic bread with a tomato jam like stuff and they also have gherkins with the meats and cheeses. They have the salami/chorizo and a ham (forgot about the ham) with 2 types of cheese. They also have apricots and fig jam. And some berries in the cheese plate. So more than I remembered from last night. Really not bad. Prefer today's hot picks over yesterday's though. But likes yesterdays breakfast over today's.
They also had a jackfruit salad last night and a couscous salad on Sat night. We talked to a CM who said tonight is meatballs, pasta and scallops. Last night they had a red gazpacho soup where they had verde one on Sat night.

So last night we had AKV club level for the 1 night. We have done this like 4-5 other times. Whenever we see a solo studio night available we grab it. Usually we get there like 9:30 am to have breakfast and then go to a park or DS. Then come back to enjoy the afternoon and evening in the lounge. Usually our room is ready when we come back in afternoon, like 2pm ish. Yesterday being a workday for hubby, we arrived at like 4:30ish or so and our room was not ready. So we sat and had wine and then the evening food, with our suitcase. Finally I went up at 5pm and asked. They had to call back office. We got text at 5:25 that our room was ready. I think it was ready the whole time but they didn't do something correctly electronically. We got the 'not quite ready yet' text at 3:45 and I bet that was supposed to be the ready text. They claimed room was still being cleaned and maybe someone got late checkout. Uh, didn't know we could. Guess I will be asking for that sometime soon. But I didn't see cleaning carts on the floor...you can see the whole floor from the lounge. So I think it was ready the whole time. But not too big a deal as we were just sitting in the lounge enjoying anyway.
Food was good. Loved the Durban chicken. Probably going back tonight. We were going to go to AK for the day and then go back but we didn't feel like going to AK. DH is anxious to watch college football. Ugh.

Cheers.

…unless it is the KC Chiefs on TV ! (And Taylor Swift) …haha
I don’t think I would bother with upcharge for Club since the resort offers a lot . Three Rivers Bridge Bar & Grill does not require a reservation but you will be placed on the wait list . The walk over the Bridge offers bench seating while you wait . So pretty at night . And they have an upper level outdoor seating area bar with amazing views and a deluxe restaurant . Plus all the conveniences for convention guests. The elevators are unique and modern I recommend a visit if you have time to just walk around someday or night . Security always allows me to park there too with or without a reservation .

We may do that and do the 3 Bridges and the Toledo lounge. It is so gorgeous there.
