I get the email (for some reason) from Food Blog and just in the last few minutes, they are like "We are live at the first not-so-scary halloween party" and I had to look down at the date on my computer screen. Between this and all the announcements from the D23 thing, I feel like I need a couple drinks...

Thanks. So, if we want to go, it's the full $199 (plus tax). Sigh...purchased at full price to see what it's like.
Cheers.
We prefer the Halloween party over the Holiday Party. Our must do’s are: - Boo to You Parade
- Fireworks
- Hocus Pocus show in front of the castle
- Cadaver Dan’s (Dapper Dan’s)
- Special photo ops (there are a lot, pick which ones you want to do)
Thanks. This will be our first Hallowe'en party. I don't even know what the Holiday Party is.
Cheers.

the Holiday party is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It starts November 8th. Here is a link to Tom Brickers article on the Halloween Party. www.disneytouristblog.com/mickeys-not-so-scary-halloween-party-plan/

I wish I had purchased my ticket at the 119. Since I got my ticket so late it was 149 - but that is better than 199. l

If so, good to know for any potential future trips and "snooze ya lose" for us.
Cheers.

No. Look at PirateLinda's post at the end of page 1. The closer you are to Halloween, the more expensive the tickets. Your date (10/29) would have always been $199. $119 was for August.

I had missed that. I don't feel bad now as we're going when we're going (wouldn't be caught dead there in August), so that's what the price is.
We didn't specifically time this to be near Hallowe'en. It's just when it fit our schedule.
Cheers.
