Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!! I hope it’s a great game. We don’t have cable so we won’t be watching. I have no idea who is playing for sure. The Chiefs? Hard to believe my son played football from elementary school till sophomore year in HS (”weird” shoulder joints so concentrated on throwing in track) and I still don’t know much about the game  No worries, DD played basketball till her sophomore year and I don’t know much about bball either  She also did throwing in track. I understood track! DH knew…I just asked him. I don’t miss him yelling at the TV. He yells at the TV when the news is on. We can’t watch that either  Life is good!! |

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!!! I hope it’s a great game. We don’t have cable so we won’t be watching. I have no idea who is playing for sure. The Chiefs? Chiefs vs Eagles We'll be watching and cheering for the Eagles since my youngest DD is in college just outside Philly. My DH also yells at the TV during games and often can't even sit down while watching. I'm interested to read that both your kids were throwers. My youngest DD is a collegiate fall season athlete and was persuaded to join the Indoor/Outdoor Track & Field teams as a thrower. She's learning shotput, weight, hammer (indoor), javelin and discus (outdoor). So far I think she's terrible but she's enjoying it. Javelin is her favorite. It's all new to me. Going down next weekend to watch a meet - she said it's hours of waiting for about 30 seconds of throwing. Oh well, at least we'll have seen it once! |
