LOL…… This is why I avoided the December UY. All of the rest make sense to me, but December is migraine inducing… I just try to ignore the December bit and think of it like a calendar year. But then our last 2 trips were over Christmas and New Year! I don’t think I could cope with two use years though. That would be my idea of a nightmare.

When we went in the summer it was easy. When the kids were in college, we went over Christmas and it was a bit more confusing. Now we go year round and I know I’m always in borrow mode because we have a December use year.

Question about the FL Resident tickets for 2, 3 or 4 days.
Do they expire when the date expires in April? Meaning not 14 days after first use?
So, if someone bought the 2 day ticket, they could go 2 days between now and the end date in April, minus the black out days?

Yup, expires April 27, any days except for the blackouts.

Circling back to the email notifications. I think it might be better to default to having any thread you post in get a subscription with email notification, unless you remove yourself. I'm finding myself reminded more by the few MO threads still going on than with more active discussion here. I thought I set up the notifications yesterday but haven't seen any come through.

Does anyone have a working phone number for Disneyland?
Like a real person not a bot?

We have no control over this at all. Like most forums you have to set your options yourself. Sorry. You have choices for both notifications via web or email. I keep very few to email

Interesting. I have set up the notifications and they started coming through after that last post I made. However, every other forum I've participated in over the years has auto subscribed me to any threads I posted in. I'm just surprised proboards doesn't have this as an option for setup. For example, I only manually unsubscribed when I wanted to stop seeing things in MO, WDWMagic, and the DIS.

I honestly don't even remember MO but I've run a lot of forums both socially and for work and been on many. This really is the norm due to spam concerns. I'm not a fan of loading emails without permission. This one gives you the notice up top for new posts on participated threads and that's its auto default.

If we pay dues by 2/15, do we avoid the penalty? I know they’re due by 1/15, but I think I saw that they’re late after 2/15. Just wanted to double check. I have A LOT of gift cards I have to consolidate. Yep! No issues paying sometime before 2/15. Not sure why they do it the way they do.
Okay so I have a related question -- I'm going onto the monthly payment plan for now, but might want to pay off the balance early in a few months. Can I do that without penalty?

I'm honestly not 100% but sticking with yes since you pay off dues during a resale so they have a capability to do it somehow at least.

Yes you can. I also pay dues monthly with auto pay. At any time you can pay off your dues with no penalty. Your auto pay stays in tack, but will not generate with a zero balance. Once your new dues are loaded the following year, your dues will automatically be deducted monthly as before. I love it!

I second the above by BWV Dreamin . I have both my contracts set up for autopay, but I do pay the balance in full in Jan. I set up the autopay when we first bought because I thought, why give them the money for the whole year upfront? But then I decided to skip the monthly budgeting and just take care of it once a year. I left the autopay set up just in case I forget or want to revert back to monthly some year. Every year it still shows the autopay set up, even though I've been paying in full in Jan. for years.
