If you can no longer “walk up” for the bar, how do you get seated at the bar? You can only make reservations for the restaurant or lounge (I thought). ?? I have a friend who did a solo walk-up last weekend and got seated in the Lounge. She was offered the Bar or a table in the Lounge. Good to hear! I will definitely try again next month if I don’t find a reservation before then.

We are going in May. End of schedule is into mid April now. I've looked for both lunch and dinner on multiple dates and found nothing. What was your trick?
Cheers.
At the 60-day mark, I worked backward from checkout date and actually found two different sets (one was about an hour apart, the other was only 10 minutes apart). Knowing that they cluster guests together for the “trip” to space, we figured we would be going “up” together and would at least have the same time even if not able to seat us together. As it turns out, there were plenty of options for seating parties of four, as the bar was full. Worked perfectly for us!
Thanks. I'm looking at the current end of schedule, so 60 days out. These are not our dates, but I'm testing. Of course, as we get to 60 days from our dates, I'll try earlier in the day
Cheers.

Space 220 is definitely my hardest reservation to book every trip. I prefer the lounge because I can order off either menu especially since I have an 11 year old now. Paying adult prices for a kid really irks me.

I just booked an 11:30 reservation for mid-March using the MDE app, so there is hope to those looking. I searched and booked as party of 2.

Well, still trying to get 2 in the lounge, but never anything available for any of our days. Don't want the main restaurant due to the prix fixe, but the lounge is hard. we go next Tuesday. I will try nights before (any day) and such. Or we'll try the walk-up and get in line early.
Cheers.

We were at WDW last week and several days I saw available reservations “day of” for Space 220. We usually don’t book many ADRs before our trip, but look while we are there at what is available if we decide to do TS.

This place totally sounds like the real life version of "nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded"

We have Space 220 booked for lunch over Labor Day weekend. I was quite surprised to see it as an option at the 60 day booking window.
Space 220 is not a Disney owned restaurant. Reservations can be made without using Disney, if you have the right contact info.

You can try booking for the Lounge and choose which menu to order from. Yeah, but I think that getting in line early will work better given general availability issues
Cheers.
We wanted the lounge and could only get the restaurant. Ugh!

It was the regular restaurant.

I myself tried the lounge - As a matter of fact, I did and when I went back to see my reservations, it had been changed to the restaurant. Even though I called they could not change it. Customer service put a note but I later decided to cancel. I will try the walk in though.

This place totally sounds like the real life version of "nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded" I'm legitimately interested in how many have gone and are eager to return. Most people I've heard from have no desire to return after a single visit; this is my experience as well. I was underwhelmed. For a company that leans so heavily into projection technology, the earth-wall/mural was abysmally executed.
Definitely worth a visit once, but the expense/poor value makes this a tough sell for repeat visits.

I found the earth display to be suitable. And we would definitely go again for the lounge. No interest in the restaurant, though.
Cheers.

We tried the lounge a while ago. I think we got the fried cauliflower and a few drinks. They were good, but way overpriced. Overall it is worth a trip, but it's not going to go down as a place I'd stop by often. It's too inconvenient and costly to be a regular place. I would go again if I was showing friends, if I knew they were fine with $20 drinks. I'd prep a guest on Oga's too, in that once you go in you'll probly drop $40 on two drinks. These both IMO need to be more convenient and walk-up.
