Perhaps the folks at Owners Lockers could cut the zip tie when dropping it off at bell services? I've had a few conversations with the the owner of Owners Lockers and he seems like a genuinely nice person. Maybe they could add a note on your account or something so that you don't have to ask each time in the future. Best of luck! LOL, my lockers are so full that if they removed the zip ties when they delivered, stuff would probably come flying out everywhere.
Yes, John, the owner, is a really, really nice person and a pleasure to work with.
LOL! it sounds like you're making the most of the locker space.

I was thinking the same thing... The zip tie is what holds everything together in our owner's locker... And John is really nice! He always answers email and is so helpful!

I always had positive interactions with John too, but the last time he got pretty snippy with me and I decided to just keep my locker. He didn't like that and said he would continue to charge me. I've had it since 2017 but he said I didn't have it long enough to cancel (just looked again and I still don't see where there is a time period that says you're required to have it). I told him that I have been overcharged for years (signed up for the regular plan that was supposed to be $105 yearly but he was continuing to charge me $10.50 per month for years rather than the annual plan that I asked for. It really left a sour taste in my mouth. I was planning on taking it back the next time we went (left it at my family's house in Florida) but I'm not sure I will. TBH, our Disney trips are probably cut back to one per year so it wouldn't be worth it anyways.

disneyteach, I am sorry you had that experience. My interactions with John have always been just the opposite. In fact, I just talked to John about changing my account to the Deluxe Plan for unlimited deliveries and he is making that change to start with my anniversary date of April and going back to see if I might have been better off having that plan last year as well and will refund any difference if there is one. He offered this, I did not ask.
Again, sorry your experience was not a good one.

TBH, our Disney trips are probably cut back to one per year so it wouldn't be worth it anyways. My first and only interaction with John was similar. He was also pretty snippy with me when I was asking about the DVC promotion he had going. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, though, as I've heard many more stories of positive interactions with him than ones like mine. Guess I just caught him on a bad day. I'm on the standard plan with one locker and we've been mostly happy with it. Our only qualm is that in our experience, bell services is usually not very accommodating with drop off/pick up of the lockers, but that's not OL's issue, it's the resort's.
