I am so afraid of using Uber while traveling. Tell me it’s pretty reliable! So we always fly Southwest. At baggage claim, Uber will pick you up on that side? That would be awesome!!

Yes, Ride Share pick up is at baggage claim (Level 2 at Terminals A & B, Level 6 at Terminal 6) at MCO. Between 9 pm and 2 am, ride share may also pickup on level 3 (departures) at Terminals A & B. Don't request a ride until have have your luggage in hand and are ready to be picked up. The drivers are staged in a designated parking area and dispatched on a first in/first out basis and it only takes a few minutes for them to arrive.

We used Mears Connect last year from our resort to MCO. I was pleased with their service. They called me to let me know the driver was running a few minutes behind. We were picked up in one of their 10 passenger vans. We were his first stop and there were 2 after us. The really nice thing was he dropped each of the groups off at our individual airline.

I have used Mears on 3 trips now and have had no problems. The drivers have all been excellent and the buses were on time.

Can anyone say what the Uber cost is going from MCO to a WDW resort? Are they more or less expensive than Mears connect?

Can anyone say what the Uber cost is going from MCO to a WDW resort? Are they more or less expensive than Mears connect? Yup, plan on $50 each way, plus tip. May be slightly less or slighty more depending on timing. Also pays to check both Uber and Lyft because though usually within a couple dollars of each other at times the price difference can be substantial.

$50 each way!? Keeping track on trips, I figured one of our recent two-week trips we had about $200 in uber/lyfts/minnie-vans while we were there. Plus the $50 each way from the airport makes it $300. Add in some grocery delivery fees and inflated prices and it was a no-brainer for me to get our own car last time. $500 for two weeks using wife's corporate code. But this will certainly not be everyone's same scenario.
