My daughter and I did the DCA Soarin' tour in 2017. I got to hold the orange scent cannister from the original Soarin' of California version. They also had the erector set model the Imagineer used to demonstrate the set up for the ride. I'd love to compare to the WDW version but there's so many more DVC people trying to get into it compared to the DCA tour.

Would love to do this - but since my trips almost never include a Tuesday my first chance at it will be in October. I wonder if it's possible to walk in via International Gateway that early, or will I have to drive from BWV to the Epcot parking lot?

Past experiences for us we were told we had to go through the front entrance for tours at Epcot. They had special areas to go and check in there but not at IG I was told. That's been a few years so I'd call and ask.

Someone was there with an ipad who could see the tour reservation.

I had not heard of this before. We have 3 trips this coming year and will e taking advantage of retirement to do weekdays. Just checked, though, and we arrive on Tuesday for 2 of the trips. THe other iw Wednesday, through the weekend, hoping for a return of Party for the Senses. So no dice this year.
Also, it says that one must be able to get themselves to Epcot. Since it starts before the park opens, is there access from IG, or only the front of the park?
Cheers.

For anyone considering this, you need to be on it...like flies on poop. Call right at MS opening to book it. And, don't take no for answer as they might not know about it. It does. They are so few spots (around 20-30 IIRC) and each person booking it can bring up to four people. So if 5 people book with 4 people in their party then it's full. My daughter and I did the DCA Soarin' tour in 2017. I got to hold the orange scent cannister from the original Soarin' of California version. I've tried several times to book it at DCA and no luck.
