Three Pines is on Amazon (I think). I love this book series by Louise Penny. There’s a lot more character development in the books. I didn't know there was a three pines series on amazon. I love the Louise Penny three pines book series, especially Ruth Zardo. I cannot help but think of her anytime someone says they are fine. I'm a big fan of James Rollins books--a little history, religion, science. She’s funny in the series!! With her duck!

I finished Rings of Power S1 right before Hallmark holiday movie season got into full swing and then focused on those.
I’ll probably watch Bad Batch S2 next.

Recently watched "From Scratch" on Netflix - I thought it was great (and sad) - later to find out, it was based on a true story which made it even more sad.

Seeing all the grey heads on here reminded me that we watched “The Grey Man” and found it enjoyable. I think my mom is reading the books too. The Gray Man books were excellent. I binge read all of them and now hoping for more in the series. I haven't seen the movie yet but plan on it. Has anybody seen the Jack Reacher tv series? I have and it was very close to the book. That's another book series that I binge read. Lol We just finished Reacher. It was fine. I think that hubby mainly found that one because I retreat to my sewing room every time he turns on Yellowstone...

Recruit DH loved. I didn’t find it all that great, but I was really distracted when he was watching it.

We love Wednesday. We've seen about 3 or 4 episodes. And they had a Metallica sound, acoustic at the end of episode 3. Fabulous!
Not really 'Sci Fi," but more "Supernatural."
Cheers.
I thought the music was outstanding in this series! And we both laughed when we heard it....wait, is that Metallica??!! Very well done!

Also watching Willow which is so far okay but not spectacular so far, but will watch the rest of the series. Will start Wednesday soon based on recommendations.
Disney related: Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom on Disney +. I watched Season 1 a few years ago and it was very good. Season 2 just released! My kids loved it too.

Weekend TV update. DH and I WASTED a lot of time last weekend trying to enjoy Invasion. On Apple network. We finally gave up. Started the Recruit this week. It's ok.Probably will keep on with it. Bad Batch this week was really good. DS liked it. Finished Willow, just wanted to finish, not what we'd hoped, but I think it's just meant for a different audience, and that's fine. Know several folks enjoying it. Watched stuff last night, Abbottt Elementary, and Law/Order, nothing extraordinary, but entertaining enough. We'd found Abbott Elem last year, and it's really funny.

Oldie but Netflix released Grease. My daughter loves Grease. I STILL have my Grease album. Wore it out. I remember when DD wanted to watch it, I"m like, nope. Once I realized what all they were singing about. I saw it at the movies when I was 8, didn't get most of the references, or understand the lyrics at the time. haha. Still one of my favorite soundtracks though.

I found that a few weeks ago, and thought I'd just watch 1 episode and see what this is all about. 8 hours and a box of Kleenex later......It was really sweet, so sad, but very good

Watched on Netflix “ The Devil All The Time”. Sort of a twisted plot similar to “ Pulp Fiction” where various scenarios fuse into one inter-relationship. A good watch.
Has anyone seen “ Molly’s Game” on Netflix?
