American Nightmare on Netflix. Three 40-45 minute segments. If you're going to watch, set aside time to watch all three episodes in a row. Cliffhangers galore.

Good to know…plan to catch up tonight on Reacher. Just finished Fargo … What a strange conclusion except for the Queen of Credits performance ! Would love to know any and all opinions. Already hooked on Death and Other Details on HULU ! I’ve seen Death on the Nile, Knives Out, and a Haunting In Venice. All very good. Still need to see Murder on the Orient Express.

I've watched so, so many series lately, I can't even remember most of them, most I found mediocre, even when I went in not expecting much. I like noise in the background all time. A few things I did enjoy The Brothers Sun- somewhat standard martial arts, action series, but acting and most of the story good, pretty enjoyable Michelle Yeoh is great! Slow Horses-season 3. I just wish it was longer, more episodes. felt just a little rushed. This is one of the best overall series we've watched lately> Gary Oldman is SO good in it. Fisk - second season-Funny Australian show, not rip roaring or anything, but characters grow on you. Echo-way different vibe than other Marvel series, and weird storytelling at times, but good. I enjoyed it. The Golden Hour was good, but frustrating to watch how it unfolds, and very violent terrorist attacks, just to be aware of if you watch, can be upsetting. Very disappointed by the latest Harlan Coben series on Netflix: Fool Me Once, lots of plot lines that go nowhere, but I will say again, did not at all figure out who did it, so points for that Have had Seinfeld reruns on a lot lately, That show is so hilarious, and so much a part of my psyche. So often things happen, and the first thing I think of is I remember that from Seinfeld. DH watched Foundation, cared enough to finish it, but overall, didn't love it. We both enjoyed Silo. He really enjoyed Loki, I didnt, and probably wont' finish it. Can't think of anything else, but I know I've watched more. Love this thread for ideas for series, and seeing what everyone is watching. Yes what a surprise with “ Fool Me Once”. Although I didn’t care for the ending, I did queue up the rest of the Harlan Coben movies in Netflix.

Heat, a Michael Mann masterpiece in filmmaking, with DeNiro and Pacino, is leaving Netflix on 1/31. Definitely worth seeing before it's gone.

Speaking of old movies worth seeing, while setting up an antenna for some football game wife wanted to see, I said "let's see what else is on these channels." I go up a couple clicks and see an old western, I say "OMG Henry Fonda!" then a moment later "OMG how cool does 1968 Charles Bronson look, got his foot propped up on the bar." Old-school Bronson is the epitome of cool, way more than McQueen imo. Camera angles and framing and music, it's totally Good Bad Ugly trilogy plus a few years. I was 300 times more interested in watching a 55-year old "Once Upon a Time in the West" than some football game.
Luckily for me, the football-game watcher-lady wasn't home yet so I got to watch the final showdown between Charles Bronson's "Harmonica" and Henry Fonda's "man in black" character.

There is a new series on AMC called 'Monsieur Spade' starring Clive Owen as detective Sam Spade. I saw an ad for it and thought it looked pretty good so I started watching it. So far it's been great, highly recommend. It airs on Sunday night and yesterday was the third episode. I think there will be a total of 6.

Cheers.

Also watched The Last Thing He Told Me on Apple. I read the book and was pleased with the movie version.

Thanks for posting this one. We just watched the first 3 episodes, and are enjoying it. Building very slowly for sure, but getting better and better.
Finishing watching all seasons of Fargo. meh. I didn't think the 5th season was great. Not that one has to rank things, but I think my rankings are: 1, 3, 4, 3, 5.
Now I need a new show....

My two daughter-in-laws told me to watch American Nightmare and make sure I watch all three episodes in one sitting.
One also mentioned You Fooled Me Once. Anyone watch this one? Both on my list.
