do AP's include photopass again? I was offered the option to add on photopass when buying the AP's, but declined. We don't need 3 photopasses- can go back and just buy one. But my disney app on my phone popped up an alert about having a new photopass. Though that certainly could be a Disney IT related bug. They don't. The CM I talked with also gave me that option and asked which one I wanted the PhotoPass added to, knowing that it just needs to be on one of the APs. I went ahead and added it on. it's an extra $99. I debated, because as mentioned, you could just purchase memory maker if desired. But it's more expensive, and I believe would only be for a trip - rather than the full year. I also debated trying to put on just one, but online it appeard I would have to buy one with it, then go through again and buy the other without it. And given all the issues this morning, I really didn't want to take a chance on getting one AP and then not being able to get the other. The cost of if for 2 APs is still less than the cost it would be for 2 trips if bought individually, so I just went with it.

Well, one benefit of totally forgetting that today was the big day for AP:
It wasn't until around noon or so that I remembered. I actually came here first, and read pages upon pages of people having problems. So I went, and it put me in the queue for about ten seconds and then that was it. For some reason I had to enter my info and wife's info twice, it forgot the first time... But all done!

Advice requested: wife and I are current Incredipass owners, expiring in December. We'll probably downgrade to the sorcerer pass once renewal comes up. Will we have to pay the full price of the sorcerer pass, or the renewal price? Should we buy the sorcerer passes now at full price so we have our vouchers and are ready to go once December rolls around?

When you purchase are you getting a voucher to activate when you are ready or are you getting an AP with an expiration date that starts now? Mine showed up as Will call (pick up). With a confirmation number - so I’m guessing that is a virtual voucher.

But, I do remember seeing something that said we would have to activate them at the park w/ ID. I assume it is a voucher. Hopefully, the clock starts when we activate otherwise it will only cover one of our planned trips for the next year...

I chose qty 1 pass and added the photopass, and once that one was in my cart, I went back to the AP page and bought 2 more without the photopass. They all 3 showed up in my cart and I was able to (finally) purchase.

I am a Florida resident, with a current Florida resident Pirate Pass. Expiration July 2023. I am outside my renewal window.
Called DVC Member Services ~ 12:30 PM. After pressing the requested numbers, was transferred to a specific number only processing upgrades.
I waited 2 hours 45 minutes, but success! I was able to upgrade to the Sorcerer's Pass, effective immediately. I paid ~ $400, current Sorcerer's Pass price, less what I paid for the renewal Pirate Pass.
This was important to me because we arrive at BWV tomorrow, and I am the only one in the family blacked out, Friday and Saturday. With the upgraded pass, I am able to join the rest of the family in their plans 😁.
I don't know how, I shouldn't talk, but my new pass expiration date is February 2024. Perhaps just this once Disney IT worked in my favor??

For those of you were trying to buy on line this morning welcome to the Disney IT hell that anyone gets that tries to enter a Run Disney event. My wife routinely starts checking the web page an hour before they are suppose to open incase they screw up and open early (not uncommon) and then a few minutes before the time she starts popping open browser screens and typically has 2 or 3 open in both Safari and chrome until she finishes the process. There seems to be no rhyme or reason on which ones get in first but one or two will get in way before the other ones.

I was in the queue for about 10 minutes and then online purchase was a breeze. I'm sorry for all of the troubles and time, but it sounds like everyone got what they were seeking! Yay!! I am so super excited to finally be an AP holder!
