Wow! She used more than one ticket per AP? Just ordinary tickets? That’s great! I’m happy to be wrong though. 😊 I was working out of town for the last 3+ weeks so I didn't know the entire story. It actually gets better..... Our 6 passes were of varying lengths, 3 for each of us. The CM took sweeties 3 passes and applied them to her AP. She still owed some money to make the purchase. Then the CM went to apply my passes. In using all 3 of my passes, I came back with a credit. The CM then took part of my credit and applied that to sweeties pass. We still had a credit of over $65. Saturday night we received the email with our gift card credit. Wow! I hope that I might get similar pixie dust someday when I am ready to return to WDW. My excess ticket issue (1 unused and unexpired and 1 unused and expired and 1 remaining days on unexpired ticket) became twice the problem when my husband passed away last year. I have 39 admission days if I received face value for all the tickets! I think standard WDW rules only allow me to consolidate the remaining days on his unexpired ticket with my similar days.

So it's been a few days since the passes went on sale. Anybody have any issues getting one? Looks like they're all still available. Granted I feel a little bit foolish waking up early to buy a ticket. I should have just slept in and bought one later.
I do wonder what April 20th is going to be like. Hopefully they learned their lesson and start the virtual cue early. I have a nephew who's going to buy a pass for his girlfriend that day.

That explains why a company with billions and billions in revenue can be this bad at the consumer web experience.

For the avoidance of doubt, those of us non-renewers interested in first-time or resumed Incredi-passes may want to see this information before Thursday morning, 4/20: disneyworld.disney.go.com/passholder-program/benefits-of-becoming-a-passholder/ . Bottom line: sales start "no earlier than 6:00 AM Eastern Time on April 20, 2023." No mention of virtual queues. Distressingly, this page disneyworld.disney.go.com/passes/ currently makes no mention of 4/20, let alone 6:00 AM -- but the equally official link given first above points at it for online purchases. Good luck!

Site performance report #1 At 6 AM the WDW site said passes will be available later, via the "passes page" (link). A Space Mountain animation graced that page, with a "check back later' message. I checked back every 30 seconds until about 6:47, when the page changed to Big Thunder Mountain Railway, and a message that I would be put in the queue automatically -- "do not refresh the page or hit the back button." About five minutes later the same animation was accompanied by this updated message: "Thank You for Your Patience! "You’re in the queue to purchase Annual Passes. "When your turn comes, you'll have 10 minutes to enter the site. "Annual Pass availability is limited and being in the queue does not guarantee the ability to purchase any Annual Pass. "Do not refresh the page or select the “back” button. "Approximate wait time more than an hour." A blue-on-blue candy cane progress stripe now stands at approximately 40% at 7:32 -- ninety-three minutes after first attempt to log in -- and the approximate wait time is 57 minutes. I guess the question is whether the queueing of users assumed that they should stay on the initial Space Mountain page, notwithstanding the "check back" message and the addition of the "do not refresh" instruction on Big Thunder Mountain much later?

I'm now in the queue (which just stopped, w/a message saying "sorry for the inconvenience. AP sales will resume as soon as possible") to buy an Incredi-Pass for my daughter. Got into the waiting room for the queue at just after 6:30 a.m.; it's 8:30 a.m. now. I thought about just waiting til this afternoon (based on the Sorcerer Pass buying experience), but I'm well and thoroughly traumatized by the 2 years when we couldn't buy them, combined with the "APs are limited; you're not guaranteed the ability to purchase" messages, has me in the queue now.
I have zoom meetings at 9 and again at 11, and then I have to leave (the computer and my office) by noon....so, fingers crossed things start up again "soon"....both zoom meetings are "listen only" so should be able to buy the AP even if my turn comes during one or the other of those meetings.
It's been "Disney Deadline" week....dining reservations opened for the first piece of our June trip 2 days ago (got the Space 220 ressie my DDIL wanted so badly, at a "perfect" time (we have to schedule around our 2-year-old's nap schedule); then today to get DD's AP, and then Monday for the dining ressies for the second piece of our June trip. I'm sure I'll "survive" this....but it is high-stress! But to relieve the stress, I booked a new mother-daughter trip (to use DD's new AP, I hope) for February....
Oh, Disney....what would I do w/out you?

I read somewhere (don't remember where, but it wasn't Disney's site) that an AP "first use" (i.e., activation date) is not only the first time you go to a park, but your first use (i.e., discount or room booking at an AP rate) of the AP....probably worth checking on that....

Good luck! Must be stressful to wait that long. DLR had huge waits with decent results for many in the end.
