Happy Easter! Up early getting breakfast going, no brunch for us as our daughter has to work (if you call going to Disney everyday work...). Just pulled some biscuits out of the oven and soon will start the sausage gravy and the Frittata.

Happy Easter to all!! A safe, happy, healthy, peaceful and blessed day! Same here. We have our three kids with the grandchildren coming (my daughter on her way now from DE/we will attend mass here). We also have one of my daughter-in-law's parents. Small egg hunt for the kids too. Even though it's a bit chilly, sun is shining !!! Enjoy everyone!!! |

Happy Easter! I hope the Easter egg hunt was fun. The kids in my family are all grown up now. No more Easter egg hunts for a while. But we had a really nice dinner. And we talked about our next trip to Disney in the fall. I did do something else that was special. Drove out to Frederick and went to Easter vigil Mass with my brother at his parish. Easter vigil is a really special thing. It's also an endurance test. 2 hours of liturgy. And new initiates into the faith were baptized and confirmed. I just love the start of the ceremony. It takes place right at sundown outside when everybody lights candles. Then we all go into a darkened church lit only by our candlelight. Very ethereal. |
