We enjoyed it, learned a lot. Our lunch was at Pecos Bill's.

Ok, I'm sold!! Thank you all for the recommendations and experiences. We'll be booking asap, well, once we get DD on board, and really decide if we think we can make the morning after extra evening hours, or wait until Friday. Pros/cons to both, but I know we better book very soon. Thanks again!!

Late to the party since you seem to have decided but...good decision!
We did this a while back and enjoyed it. We wanted to wait until our niece, maybe 10 or 11 at the time was old enough. When she was close we talked about it and she said that she simply didn't want to go. She simply didn't want to see the backstage portion and live on the stage.
Cheers.

I haven't done Keys to the Kingdom (would like to!) but we have done Marceline to Magic and I loved it. It's a shorter tour and there is some backstage stuff (like Haunted Mansion). Might be worth it to try that first

Hi! We did it about 6 years ago? We had lunch at Columbia Harbor House too. It was good did feel like it went long by the end but was overall good and interesting especially to do something different.

Pros/cons to both, but I know we better book very soon. Thanks again!! If you can swing the earlier tour, I would recommend it. I’ve done both the first and last of the day. With the first, Main Street was empty and you could hear the guide better. We also got to ride one additional ride since crowds were still low. Either way, I loved both tours and learned something new each time. The more questions asked, the better the tour. Enjoy!!!

We are looking to do it. Will be my birthday treat. I regret not doing it last year.
Thinking about the 8Am tour so we get to see an empty magic kingdom.
Do you only get to ride pirates ?

Your idea of doing it on a transition day is a great one since it is lengthy.
I loved it. Ate at Harbor. Great guide.
Lots of behind the scenes stuff but also there is more “above ground and on-stage” that off-stage. Again, totally worth it but also don’t think you will spend the entire time behind the scenes.

Just to point out the days of an empty park are likely gone. Even if the park opens at 9am, the gates will open at 8am to let people down to the Hub. But you’ll at least get the chance to get some photos of an empty Main Street before you check in. I’m not sure how early they’ll allow you in for an 8am tour but you should get 15 minutes head start on the crowd. But if they go for an earlier opening, your chances are very slim. Fingers crossed for you. 🤞

I I wonder if it might spoil the magic Disney creates if the kids see this tour. Sometimes it’s better not knowing!

To book KTTK. Is it booked on 60 days exactly or if a resort guest can book 60+ ?
