meh...college doesn't count Everyone is acting like an idiot in college No kidding and tbh what goes on in dorms should not be used as a comparison for hotels. I wish all parents/guardians/chaperones would stop kids from playing in the halls like that or even racing. It's noisy and obnoxious and really inappropriate location for playing. Disney has tons of space for fun. Let people relax in room in peace.

Disney has tons of space for fun. Let people relax in room in peace. Exactly. Parents need to parent, teach kids boundaries, how to behave. They are in Disney so if that’s not enough stimulation. Consult your pediatrician. Kids need to learn, no, you can’t do that here, etc. please stop entitling your kids and making excuses for bad behavior. I’m not putting up with your lack of parenting. It’s that simple. I raised my kids and they were raised to follow the rules. I don’t expect others to put up with bad behavior. Just like when they were young. If one was tired or cranky, I would leave a restaurant rather than expose others to my crying colicky son. So at this point in life, both are grown and flown, I’m not dealing with others that don’t parent.

In college (40+ years ago), I remember we played "killer frisbee" in the dorm halls. May have busted a ceiling light or two. Fortunately, no Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. so dumb actions stayed non-shared with the world and did not live on forever.

I think all who grew up without social media and phone that can video are thankful. What happened in college dorms stayed in college dorms… but now as adults allowing children to play or use a excuse as they are just so energized, is exactly just that, a excuse for not parenting and not wanting the hassle to teach no you can’t do that here. Get a grip on your kids, parents, please. Because I don’t want to deal with them.
