This is surprising. I feel like I don't ever hear people complain about parking fees. I wonder how much this hits Disney's bottom line. It builds goodwill back to visitors though, but not the first thing that will make super fans excited.

IMO they introduced parking fees to force ME & keep ya on property…and honestly that’s one step closer to the “Disney Experience” we have been missing…
Iger is being pretty bold this week that’s three big changes- lol now where is my dining plan

I often book cash stays before or after DVC stays - and when I am outta points which is most of the time lol This is surprising. I feel like I don't ever hear people complain about parking fees. Not so much when ME was around but honestly parking fees were what sent me off property for the first time in 20 years…During D23 the cost for all stars + parking was more than Dolphin & Hilton bonnet creek with Valet parking.

Let’s see when room rates go up to recoup this revenue. Or they add a new resort fee. Smoke and mirrors?

I understand when I have to pay for parking for work in midtown Manhattan. Orlando? Nah. It was dumb. I also loathe resort fees Very few places I stay actually do that. Honestly I believe that has been going away from most places since the pandemic. It is rolled in with lots of places now.

Completely surprised by this move also. I also think it is too small of a concession and doesn't benefit enough people.

I agree, and at least if people don’t see it as a separate fee, they don’t complain about it LOL However Disney decides to do it, I think we know they will not be giving up this revenue without getting it some other way.

This is actually a minor negative to DVC owners as it has the potential to increase competition. Still a good move, but a detraction for us.
Cheers.

Disney will just build the fees into the room if they choose to. No change for us. Just thinking that, with the fee being explicit, more people would not have chosen to park. Now that it's "free," more people may consider parking. Minor, though.
Cheers.

What is the Parking Fee that you guys usually hear about at the Resorts (whether Disney or Non-Disney) at WDW? At D/L's Off-Site Hotels/Resorts, they tag a between $25-$45. I'm not sure if that's per day as we usually do our DVC thing and Parking is complimentary.
