Do it!!!
VIP tours are the best, if used properly.

Yes. No restrictions! It's awesome to do, though we skipped this trip due to some health concerns (good we did as not all could have done it)

As many parks as you want in the time frame allotted. You will be driven to the back of the house entrances. You can tell them what rides you want, etc. Guides can help with kiddos as well, I.e. watch them while you do a ride they can’t, sometimes push the stroller (we never expect it). Usually they will grab you waters when you need them, and when you get out of the they usually have snacks you can pick from. VIP tours are awesome!

We did 3 parks in one day on a tour a couple of years ago. We were picked up at VGF at 9 AM, started the day at MK, went to Epcot for lunch and Ratatouille, hit all the cool Star Wars rides at Hollywood Studios, and were back at VGF by 6 PM. I don't recall the exact count, but I think we hit ~ 15 of the best rides across all of the parks AND had a 1 hour lunch break in Epcot. Oh, and it was April, so you KNOW the parks were packed.
Not cheap, but definitely worth it.
We booked another for our tour in ~ 3 wks, so I have to call today to see if they'll apply the 20% discount...

I am probably in the minority who didn't think it was worth the money. The best part was the VIP area for fireworks at MK with the guide getting us all food at Casey's. We used the VIP tour to ride lots of rides. He hit 3 parks. I can line up 6-8 LLs in one day pretty well. I think we hit 12-14 total rides with the VIP tour, and we only skipped the entire line once or twice. The rest of the time we went through the regular LL line. So I kind of felt that we do well enough on our own on rides. The rest of my family thought it was amazing. It was fun to enter the park the back way and see some behind the scenes areas. Maybe we did it wrong, or maybe our guide wasn't the best. It didn't help that it poured down rain for probably 90 minutes of our tour. The guide did add some time on the back end to make up for it, but again, I didn't feel like it was really worth the money.

I am probably in the minority who didn't think it was worth the money. Well, we've not done it, but everything I've read says to me that it's not worth the money. I can do the things I want anyway, without paying this.
20% off of way too much is still very close to way too much.
Cheers.

20% discount is pretty generous for disney.
Id love to do a VIP. But even with discount and if I was with a large group. Not sure I could justify the price. (maybe I'm tight as we call it in England)
Im sure it's one of the best experience is Disney and a once in a life time thing. If not Club33.
Maybe il do keys to the kingdom in 2/3 weeks time and wish I was doing a VIP.

I haven't had the desire to try this yet. Looking it up - $450 - $900 per hour, and people are enjoying it for many hours in a day? This could run $5000 pretty quick ($800 x 6).

It is a splurge, but we will be retiring in the next 2 years and thought it would be a fun and memorable family experience (before it's out of reach). Our DGS is 8 and loves Star Wars, our DGD is 4 and loves the princesses, and we are still trying to show DDIL that WDW can be fun. We also have some friends who are quite a bit younger than us and have 2 boys who are 7 and 9 and love all the same things as DGS. They will be joining us on the tour as well. I just hope we can get one scheduled at the 60 day mark! We have heard so many good things about the tours, we are excited!

VIP tour sharing is common. There is even a dedicated facebook group of people booking tours and coordinating sharing the costs.
