Our family has had some really bad news unfolding over the last two weeks. Bottom line is that DH (jflatto on here.......) is on hospice care and his days are limited.
We had bought vouchers for annual passes when they became available earlier this year, and were planning to activate during our planned trip from 10/1 - 10/8. It's now obvious that can't happen.
Does anyone remember how long I should to have to activate mine? Anyway I can talk to them about a refund for his? (This clearly isn't my top priority, but I cope with things by taking care of 'stuff'......)
Any idea if they might give me a refund on our MNSSHP tickets?
Not sure if I should be calling member services, or ticketing or someone else?
Not a catastrophe if it is just money down the drain, but want to try and figure it out.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear this. Hugs to you and the family. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the vouchers expire. You could have them for years before you activate them. Once activated, the days start to count down. I would suspect they would refund the Halloween tickets given the situation. If you bought them with the DVC discount then I think you'd need to speak to member services.

You have one year to activate the AP after which the price paid for it can be used toward a future ticket. Save the e-mail you received when you placed the AP order for proof of purchase since it will not longer appear in MDE after one year.

Oh my. So very sorry to hear this. Keeping you both in my thoughts.
As for your tickets, I agree calling MS is where you should start. I could be wrong but if the voucher hasn’t been activated you may be able to transfer to another person or keep it for yourself until the next year. Hugs.

As others have said, MS should help with all the tickets. His AP should be refunded as well as the party tickets. MS is usually very understanding.

Also sending my thoughts and prayers to both of you. Wishing you both strength and peace as you journey through this difficult time together. I completely understand wanting to "take care of stuff" and sounds exactly like something I would do in such a situation; so much that is outside of your or anyone's control that it helps to keep some sanity and normalcy to work on stuff that is. I would hope that MS is extremely understanding and willing to assist with whatever you wish to do.
