Was wondering if anyone booked the January 4th, 2025 cruise today?

Seems to be a "No".
I did not even bother to look at the charts.
We have two DCL cruises next summer. One on the Magic and one on the Wish. More than likely, I will book a Treasure reservation for 2025 at that time.

We just went on a 6D cruise, and had a great time, but it was just too long with our home situation so I didn't even look at Treasure because all the cruises are 7D.

After doing an inaugural cruise on the Wish, we learned we won't being doing one of those again. So no to the Treasure until end of 25 or in 26. And as beautiful as it looks, we hated the layout of the Wish so we're not really too excited about it. I keep telling DH we should give the Wish another try but he's a hard no. I will hopefully persuade him to try the Treasure, especially since they are the 7 nights.

We always stay Aft so the Wish is the only ship - besides the Treasure - we can simply hit the elevator for the 11th floor and arrive in the Adult area. All the other lead to the loud family areas. The running track is a moot point for us - LOL. What did you husband dislike?

Less wind, better views, easy access to the other levels of the ship (least busy stairs and elevators).

We both thought the Wish was beautiful and we too prefer the Aft of the ship (the balcony!) but thought the Adult area was too small. I do enjoy the running/walking track and it was non-existent on the Wish; too many pools; not enough areas to sit out on the decks (like deck 4 on the others); the main shops were too small; it just felt very closed in like they didn't want you outside. When you think about the Arrendale restaurant, all of the windows in that whole hallway are blocked out. When you walk back to Animator's Palette, for example, you can see outside and sit in the portholes. We didn't like the where they put the Spa. Again, part of what's so awesome about the Spa on the Fantasy and Dream is it's location, you're up top, you can see out to some beautiful views, on the Wish, nope, you're on deck 5 and see nothing. It's a lot of little things, first world problems so to say, lol. In reading a lot of comments about the Wish there are definitely 2 camps, those that like the new ship/layout and those that prefer the classics, and we def prefer the classics.

Robin said the same thing about the Wish adult area, specifically the pool.....too small.
I have not sailed the Wish yet, so my favs are still the Dream and Fantasy.
We really, really like the new NCL ships and staying in a Haven room. For us, the NCL Haven is the best way to cruise.

Never done a Disney cruise. Would like to, but it's just not a priority yet.

We were due for a family vacation and were looking at the last week in November 2024. DD saw the Treasure member charter cruise and suggested we do that instead. So, we booked 3 veranda cabins. Haven’t been on a Disney cruise in many years. We’re excited!

Not sure when we will cruise DCL or any line right now. It was considered for a minute or two for 2024 but my daughter in law is afraid the kids are too young. A big Disney trip next year it is for now.

Have you been on the Prima or Viva? We are sailing on the Jade next July. After the Encore I’ll be curious to see how I like their smaller ships. We have a 15 day Hawai’i cruise booked for March on the Discovery Princess in a mini suite. We have never taken a cruise that long, it has a lot of sea days. A new cruising experience for us for sure.

I would like to tack on a 3-4 day cruise on the Wish at the end of our grand babies WDW trip. I think we might need some alone time after navigating 3 grand daughters with two 4 and under LOL.

That’s what really made our decision in favour of Disney…we will have two great grandsons under 5 at the time of the cruise.

Nope...To new and not had opportunity to see them. We looked at booking one of them in 2025, but there was a 40% premium vs another NCL ship that had the same itinerary.
We have sailed the Jade. We liked it at the time, but the ship is much older and has less of everything. My opinion is that you sail the Jade for the itinerary, not for the ship.
We sailed Princess on our British Isle cruise. We choose the Princess ship for the itinerary and the price. We originally looked at booking DCL for the British Isle cruise, but the cost was almost double and was 3 days shorter. For us, it was a no brainier to choose Princess. We all saved like $5000 per cabin, got a longer cruise and food/service was just as good, if not better than DCL......just no Disney environment.
If I ever do a transatlantic, I am gonna get a suite of some type. With all that down time, I want to not feel like I am stuck in a tiny room.
