So… genie+….  Our usage of that is going to be changing.  The way we used it was to stack rides for the second park.  We didn’t use it in the first park unless it was our only park, and then we didn’t get a huge advantage from it because we didn’t stay in the parks late.  We left early!  But stacking has its own set of problems because you often get a few things right on top of each other!  It can be super frustrating to realize that it’s impossible and you have to drop something.  I’ve always thought that genie+ wasn’t always worth it, but DH was all about spending the money to get the advantage.  But when the advantage is 2 rides…. It’s hardly worth it.  If the advantage is 4+ rides, it’s probably more worth it.  But you have to stay late and my kids don’t make it late.  Maybe my kids will stop waking up nicely for us and rope drop will stop being a thing.  Then genie+ is so much more important.  

The ILL is a much easier call.  If we can’t rope drop it, and we want to ride it (or ride a second time), we buy it.  They’re the favorite rides, and so worth it.  Probably.  

We did run into an issue that may be a bigger deal later.  I had a hard time making some genie+ reservations in the morning, and I”ve read that the issue is on reservation bound tickets you have to tap into the first park before it’ll let you make reservations for the second park.  I don’t know if that was my issue, but it may have been.
