New posts are found at the bottom of the main page with a link. No button needed. It's a standard feature of the forum   Thanks for adding the New Posts button. That was my first stop when I logged on. New question: Within each thread, is there a "View First Unread" option or is that Recent Posts? Nothing jumped out at me at the thread level but, after New Posts, that was my next favorite option. Thanks again to you and everyone involved with this migration!!! Like on MO there is the option to go directly to the end when there are new replies. You just have to click on the New icon. It grows in size to help make it more clickable. For participated threads (button top right) it auto takes you on first click. |

Just a quick note to say hello. I was a long-time lurker on MO and tried to post more often when it looked like the site was going away but then I fell back to old habits of just lurking. I even tried a trip report and was doing great with the pre-trip report but then never got back afterwards to report how it went (it was great!). So, in short, I am not a good forum participant but would love to visit from time-to-time if you'll have me!  |

I’ve made it over from Mouseowners, thanks to those who have worked hard to get this setup. I spent some time today copying my few trip reports I had there onto a word doc so I don’t lose them.
Now I just have to poke around and get used to the new site.

Serious Kudos to the folks who worked on setting this up. Definitely knocked this one out of the park! Cheers. There were a few of us doing it. I suggested this specific set up due to ease in case someone else ever needs to do behind the scenes stuff. I'll miss names but we had help on securing the domain name, ones who wanted to help moderate (totally hands off yet can approve memberships and move threads and stuff) and eventually starting the rent board up. Then those who helped test in 2021 and again in 2023. Lots of good peeps put time into this. But many thanks to you. Anything to keep this going! |
