How much does one tip valet at Disney?
Is it by day or 24 hours? added to room?
Bell Services still $2 per bag?

I find tipping to be very personal and base it on the quality of service received. Not sure a "one size fits all" works for this.
Cheers.

I’m not in that camp so I’m looking for baselines, please, from other MOs.

How much does one tip valet at Disney? Is it by day or 24 hours? added to room? Bell Services still $2 per bag? I tip the valet each time they bring me my car and do not base it on how long the car has been parked. I usually tip $2-3 each time. I give the tip directly to the valet. I'm not sure if there is a way to add it to the room. If there were, I would worry that the valet might not really get the full tip. For bell services, I usually tip $2 per bag and round up to the nearest $5 increment. So, if I had 4 bags, I would tip $10. Full disclosure - I have no idea if I'm a good or bad tipper.

And I did not mean to be controversial on this particular thread - sorry if it came across that way. I just read a number of travel blogs and the concept of tipping, and tipping culture, comes up a lot. So it is something I consider.
But, as already noted, baselines from other MOs are a good way to form a basis.
Cheers.

I wasn’t clear with my one question. Is the valet parking fee added to our room? Thank you.

OKW - They put (usually) three suitcases, a couple bags of groceries, and some pop and water in the golf cart, drove us to our room, and moved that stuff into the room for me. I gave him (usually) ten bucks. Five would seem cheap, 20 seems like too much...but I'm cheap. Anyways, they always seemed very happy. I figured if they did that five times an hour a few times per day, that's some pretty good cash.
Now we rent a car and ~I~ have to move all the groceries and suitcases! Into the second floor no less! I guess I could call Bell Services and have them send a guy, but I can work on being a little less lazy once in a while.

For bell services I round up, so for three suitcases I'll tip $10.
Housekeeping, $5/day.
We've never valet parked. I'd probably tip $5 when dropping off and $5 picking up.
Restaurants and bars. If it's a waitperson/bartender who's served us before and we know them (as well as you'd know someone you see a few times a year) then I'll tip 25-30%. All others, 20% unless great service warrants more.

Thank you! Added to the room it appears if the Disney site is correct. Depends on the day and what topic on that. $39…not sure if I’ll have to pay again at the Poly after we leave Riviera or not. It might be very expensive tonga toast!

It might be very expensive tonga toast! The $39 is per day and I am sure once you are charged at one resort, you can use it at another. Anyone in your group have a handicap placard? Free valet parking for this. Laura

We usually have 3 large cases, 4 carryons plus a couple of personal items when we arrive. And at OKW we were up two flights of stairs. I tipped $25 happily.
For a resort like Bay Lake I might tip $20 since they have a luggage cart and elevators to assist!
If we’re switching resorts we’ll have bags of groceries too so I add $10.

We usually tip about $2/bag and typically round up. I had my most expensive tipping experience with this trip at $50.00. We had 6 suitcases, 6 backpacks, 1 car seat, 1 case of water, and 10 bags of groceries (that were dropped off by the delivery service). I don't know if it's good or bad....but that's what I did. We usually make sure we bring small bills for tipping. This time I could used some $20's.
