Tomorrow I check out of the Riviera and head over to Saratoga for a few days. I thought I had only booked my scooter thru tomorrow, but I see that I have it booked thru the end of my Saratoga stay.
So, I have my car here as well. The scooter I have is not one that folds up, and even if it did, I don't think I could handle it on my own. So, how am I going to get both my car and my scooter over to Saratoga tomorrow.
I was thinking that I would drive the car over to Saratoga and then maybe call an Uber or Minnie Van to take me back to Riviera for the scooter and I could then take a bus to Disney Springs and then scoot over to Saratoga. Once I get an idea I have a hard time formulating a second plan.
Anyone have a better suggestion? Keep in mind that my back would not allow me to walk the length of Disney Springs.

If you don’t need the scooter, could you turn it in early?

Can you call the company you hired it from and either ask if you can return it early as baymaxfan suggested, or ask them to transfer it for you. After all they will need to know where to collect it from at the end of your stay if you keep it.

I agree you should probably call to see if you can return it, get it transferred, or at least update where it's supposed to be picked up from. If you keep the scooter, I would definitely do some sort of Rideshare back to go pick up from Riviera to bring it to saratoga.

I would absolutely give the company a call. They may be fine taking the scooter back early; they may also agree to pick up the scooter early and deliver another one to you.
I don't have scooter experience but I do have stroller experience, and in that experience, whenever I've spoken with an actual person they have been more than understanding about this sort of thing!

Oh, but I want to keep the scooter. It will allow me to still get around Disney Springs for my last two days, and it will keep me from going back to that Dooney & Bourke outlet store. I am also meeting my friend at Deluxe Burger on Sunday, so I will need it then as well. I was going to drive and park in the Lime Garage, but now I don't have to do that--parking is such a pain there.
I think Uber or the Minnie Van just might be the solution.

You are aware that Minnie Vans have accessible ones that will take a scooter too right?

I thought they did, but I still have to make two trips, no matter if Minnie takes the scooter or if I take the scooter. Last I recalled Minnie isn't that cheap, and I don't want to pay for round trip if I don't have to.

No they are not. Just tossing out options for scooter transportation if trying to save time

I think you’ve answered your own question. If you need the scooter and want to pay the least amount of money, then it sounds like what you suggested in your first post is the way to go.

Late to respond, but you could take the bus from Riviera to Disney Springs with the scooter, then use the scooter to check into your room - if room not ready, leave scooter at bell services. Next take uber back to Riviera to get your car, and drive over to SSR. We have done this in the past with my mother when she was alive, but it was a bit easier because we were a bigger party. I would ride the bus with my mother to the next resort, make sure she was settled, then go back to our first resort to make sure everything was packed (I could have stayed with my mother, but I fear my husband or kids would leave something behind). Then the rest of us would drive over to the next resort

I wonder if the Minnie Van folks would pick up and transport just the scooter? When ready to leave Riviera meet Minnie Van and load scooter; have them transport scooter to Saratoga. . You leave in car at same time to meet them at Saratoga. Would save you a return to Riviera. Not sure they will without you riding. Could call and ask.

I’d just call the scooter company and ask for a transfer. Assuming they may not even transfer your scooter. Probably just leave your scooter at Bell Services and they pick it up whenever and they drop another at new resort at time requested.
