Starting on April 5, new destinations and ride-sequences featuring characters and locations from Ahsoka, Andor and The Mandalorian” will be added into the mix, at Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris.
Here is a preview of one of the new segments.
According to the release from Disney one addition will feature a visit to the planet Peridea (from Ahsoka) and you may receive in-flight transmissions from Cassian Andor, Din Djarin & Grogu, or Ahsoka Tano herself.
With the new additions added to the randomizer, there are now more than 250 possible variations of Star Tours that you can experience. One has to wonder, how times do you need to ride Star Tours to see all of the variations?

My guess--more than 250.  I'm so far behind on Star Wars. I'll never catch up, but the ride is fun regardless. |

Considering we've ridden Guardians of the Galaxy (with 6 song options) and gotten Conga four out of six times, WAY more than 250.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears Conga by Gloria Estefan One Way or Another by Blondie I Ran (So Far Away) by A Flock of Seagulls Disco Inferno by The Trammps.
I have been fortunate to have had 5 of 6 songs. I am still waiting for Disco Inferno.
As a bonus, I go to ride with the limited time, Christmas songs.
Also, I think I have had Conga the most times on the ride too.

Remind me to never ride GOTG with either of you - Conga is my least favorite on that ride! Disco Inferno is great, and I love that each of the other songs gives the ride a different feel. "Run Run Rocket" was fun, too! |

I can't get over how people can have such different experiences with the songs they get on GotG.
With all our riding, I still have also never gotten Conga! It's so funny that some people get that more than any of them. I kept chanting...Conga, conga, conga...to no avail this past trip. Just got I Ran and Everybody Wants to rule the world (I love Tears for Fears, but I do not like this song for the ride.) Kids got I Ran again, and September on their rides.
I wish we'd been able to get the new Ahsoka content in Star Tours. I do very much wish they'd just run the new footage all the time, so I would be sure to get it. I can only manage one ride on Star Tours (if that...) Like have legacy content on one side, then the new stuff on the other side, etc.

When they did this in the past (added content from episodes 7-9), it seemed like they only showed the new contact for a while before eventually integrating the old content back in. |
