Let’s evaluate this….pay dues for a “deluxe” resort and there is no table and chairs? I think the BWV owners need to let DVD this is unacceptable. When BLT had issues when opening, enough voiced their opinions and they corrected it.

That is disappointing.
We use the table & chairs a lot. Sometimes we have to work and using that coffee table that opens up is not comfortable. We used that at SSR and I wasn't thrilled with it.

When BLT had issues when opening, enough voiced their opinions and they corrected it. And they did same with the GFV resort studios when they started putting in microwaves. But it’s not just BWV owners who need to voice their views, otherwise they might continue the trend in other resorts.

Here is a potential solution: A small folding table like this (I found it on amazon). It would fit in an owner's locker. If you need a chair to go with it, I'm sure you could find one that would fit in there with this. It's sad enough that I have to bring my own toilet paper, and then my own plastic bag for dirty laundry, but now this?

Don’t even get me started on the toilet paper!! Hmmm...several ways to interpret that statement...
Cheers.

Not a fan of these expandable tables, even in the 1 bedrooms. SSR has that in the living area, instead of the table, where we used to store things. There is no storage at all in the living area at SSR in the refurbished 1 bedrooms. Not sure where those guests are supposed to put their clothes, etc.

It means the guest has to use the master closet. They should have put in a small closet in the hall; they could also have created those little shelves inside the wall bed fitting that Riviera has. I certainly won’t book a 1-bed at SSR now, even though I like the look of them.

We just got back from 8 nights in a refurbished standard view studio, so I thought I'd post a random list of things that we noticed. In no particular order....
We arrived around 11:15 AM and left our bags with bell services. We always have our first meal at the Boathouse, so we headed to the bus stop. About halfway down the path we got our room ready text! That's a record for us! We were hungry so we kept going.
The new flooring in the rooms looks good. It's textured, so no slipping. But I suspect it will also hold on to dirt.
Lighting is MUCH improved. There are reading lights built into the headboard. Took me a while to figure that out.
There are now 3 mirrors in the room. The vanity mirror (way better lighting), a full-length mirror near the door, and a mirror above what used to be the dresser.
The 2 drawers (where the dresser used to be) are considerably larger. When you include the storage inside the coffee table, it's probably about the same as it was in the old room.
The ledge across the entire bed and drawers is HUGE! Lots of space there.
We missed the table, but the lift-up coffee table worked fine for us. It's seemed quite sturdy, but we'll see how long that lasts.
Glass doors on the tub allowed a lot more light in there. We're two adults, but those who need to bathe little ones will probably not like it.
There are now 3 towel bars. One next to the tub (where it belongs), One above the toilet (but too close to really hang a towel), and one on the shower door.
There is no grab bar in the tub/shower.
Thermostat is now digital, and only goes down to 68. We were comfortable, but lots of people will be hot. We were sure we'd miss the ceiling fan, but we really didn't.
The bar sink is larger, which is great for those of use who wash a few glasses and dishes each day.
Cabinet doors and the toilet seat are now soft-close.
Overall, we love the renovation. We like the colors, the art, the flooring. I hope it all holds up!

Thanks for the list Kathy. I’d be interested to know if the 1-beds have similar features, I assume they will.
For me it seems the thermostat and the lack of a grab rail are the biggest issues. 68 is way too hot for me to be able to sleep well. If there’s no over-ride then that’s a big issue for me. The lack of a grab rail seems like a poor decision.

There are youtube videos that help bypass the thermostat. Apparently maintenance will change it for you too if you ask. I'm always cold, so when I travel alone, I have it set to 72-74 (and don't say wait until hot flashes to me, this is with them). At home we're either 62 in the winter or 69 at home so these work for us. I do call for lots of blankets I think the grab bars are now only in the HA rooms. I don't recall seeing them in our non HA 1 or 2 bedrooms we stay in.

We go for 74 in the summer and it's just fine. 68 would be too cold for us. So no issue here.
Cheers.

I noticed the same thing . I am just back from a miracle trip at BWV. On Sat I began to wonder if I could sneak in another trip . i texted my wonderful owner Tim to check for me if anything was available before I lost my das forever .
He found somehow how 5 nights for BWV studio for the very next day. Last week in in April . I started packing , stick my new gogo scooter in the car and I took off the next day. Talk about unicorns !
I found the room different . I missed the ceiling fan. I hated the new tub with a glass door. It is very hard for those with mobility issues to get in. The missing table was odd. The little stools awful. Plenary of storage for one.
