For the first few years of being members, studios were fine for us. Then one trip, we found ourselves with extra points, and decided to splurge on a 1 Bedroom. From then on, it's only been one bedrooms for us. Well, except for this one time, when we were being thrifty, and decided to stay in a studio again on one trip. I mean, how bad could it be-we used to stay in studios every trip. Well, I turned into the most spoiled little B----, having the most miserable trip. What do you mean our refrigerator doesn't make ice cubes and I have to shlep down the hall for them? And we have a lot of damp towels-where's our dryer to dry them out? I still stay in studios sometimes, the times when I'm solo, but if DH is with me, it's gotta be a 1 Bedroom. I don't think he could put up with my whining otherwise.

Yes, even DH and I usually book one bedroom. He stays up late watching TV ( loudly), and when I want to sleep, I need it dark and quiet. This way we are both happy! Isnt that what vacation is about??!!! If we need to do a one-night stay for some reason then we have done studios or two—three nights, but at this point, he does not even want to do studios. We also like W & D to do clothes before going home.

DH and I stayed in a studio for the first time last August at VGF. This was the first trip we took with just the two of us. We decided it would be a laid back trip. The studio was fine for just the two of us. In the past we had always used two bedrooms and one bedrooms depending on how many we had coming. The studio is fine for a trip that isn't too long. For the longer trips, I like having the kitchen and laundry. This May the two of us will be rambling around in a 2 bedroom. Our DD and family were planning to come, but something unexpected came up so it will just be the two of us. I'm looking forward to another laid back vacation this time at OKW for the first part of the trip and then Riviera in a one bedroom for the last part of the trip. This will be our first time at the Riviera. I do like to try all the different resorts. I can't wait to try the PVB Towers when they open.

Yup - we initially purchased enough points for one week in a studio, then we got a one bedroom - then a two bedroom - there has been no going back to a studio since
