CommuniCore Hall & Plaza Opening is opening June 10th.
CommuniCore Hall will be home to EPCOT festivals and other celebrations.
Mickey & Friends meet and greet, and new Encanto Show location will be inside the hall.
Nothing too exciting here, just another step towards the forever Epcot Festival vibe. At least this will be better than using the shuttered Wonder of Life pavilion.

I actually liked the Wonders of Life pavilion when they used that for the Festival Center. We had the food and beverage demos, the Ghirardeli chocolate area and the place to get the AP holder gifts for 1 and 4 visits. Of course, all of those things are gone, but I thought the space worked very well for that.

My only complaint than was it was really out of the way, for what it functioned as. At least this will be front and center for the festivals.
Now, I wonder how long the pavilion will remain empty before it is removed/remade into something else. I am guessing it will be 7-10 years before something happens with the building.

Kinda Crazy that this was suppose to be open in December and has had 6 month + delay on it.
Will be nice to have most of the walls down in Epcot

Good to know. We arrive on the 8th and I'm guessing we should plan to be in another park that day to avoid the blogger crowd and any others looking to be a part of any debut/opening.
We were bummed to be missing Flower and Garden since it's ending earlier this year but also looking forward to possibly lower crowds in Epcot w/ no festivals going on during our stay...guess they found a way to fix that for us for a day or so, lol.
