I don’t think anyone was until more recently - and that was just Netflix. With so much streaming competition and stock prices largely based on subscribers, it seemed no one wanted to rock the boat and possibly lose subscribers. However, once that started happening anyway, they will now all likely start doing this. For the record, I am completely OK with them blocking password sharing and I think it should have happened a while ago.

I just wish they had better ways of doing this. Today it all appears to be IP address based and I find that my digital TV boxes our on 1 IP address and my computers are on another and Netflix always tells me I can't watch on one or the other even though they are both in my house. I have no problem with them doing this as long as it doesn't negatively effect customers who are just trying to use the service...
