So there I was looking at my phone, and the Disney app informed me that from May 1 - June 18 I could experience the temporary passholder lounge at Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco. I had not heard that info here first, so I wasn't sure, but a google search said yes, yes. TBH I've never been in that restaurant. My first thought was, "hmm, bigger than upstairs at Figment's" which I will be honest, we usually don't go because wife and I have a better time sitting in a quiet part of Sunshine Seasons at the Land, having a real snack and soda refills. And "upstairs at Figment's" doesn't have the rainbow tunnel or the pin tables so what good is it.

Glad the restaurant will be getting some use.
Now, if they could add some entertainment in there.....we could have something.

Why just a month? Are they doing repairs on the regular lounge?

Why just a month? Are they doing repairs on the regular lounge? Perhaps they are only doing it as a test, to see if it gets used. This would give Disney an out if no one uses the lounge.
Edit: I just read that that in 2023, Disney introduced V.I.Passholder Days with special perks including a private member lounge throughout the month of May. It looks like Disney has brought it back for 2024 and added additional days.

Can AP holders bring guests to this AP lounge, similar to how DVC owners can bring guests up to the DVC lounge?

Ah, I just realized that this is a Passholder lounge and NOT a DVC lounge. Now it all makes much more sense.

With as many AP holders as there are, I think this place will be slammed and hard to get into.
Was the thing they put on in Sunshine Seasons for AP or DVC. I can see why that was a bust with that terrible location in the booth in the back in the corner in the dark.

Somehow I didn’t visit this last year. I’ll be sure to do so sometime next month.

So, the Passholder lounge is open May 1 through June 18.
The online merch discount is offered May 5-24
But VIP Passholder Days is supposed to go May 1 through June 26.
Something's missing! Do you think we'll still get the additional dining discounts they offered last year?

I can see why that was a bust with that terrible location in the booth in the back in the corner in the dark. It was AP. It never seemed full. The restaurant probably will hold well. I'm looking forward to it simply because I love the ambiance of the restaurant!

We are at WDW in May and may check this out. This is a rare trip where we're not Boardwalk-based, but will still make it to Epcot.
Cheers.

In a moment of madness, we decided to give VGF a try. Based on the preponderance of what I'm reading, that will not be as good a stay. Still, we will enjoy it, even if not as much. It will be interesting to see what proximity to MK is like.
cheers.

Based on the preponderance of what I'm reading, that will not be as good a stay. There are obviously a ton of people who love it, so you never know. You might come back and tell us all that THIS is your new thing.
