Just want to add last month they sold 43 deeds for 6445 points. 1.9% sold out
OC comptroller froze on me after adding aboout 45 contracts sold in one day at Polynesian. Not all day 1 sales are un yet but there were over 100. I got to just shy of 6k points sold when it froze. Lowest I saw was 25 points. Some odd numbers like 4 63 points by same family. 31 points stuck out too. Highest I personally saw was 320.
CFW is a dud plain and simple. Disney has control over 300 of the 363 cabins. Only 63 have been declared. At least hopefully they will book for cash
I think it's clear that all the negatives are real. Lack of model cabin meant nothing. Even other Resorts were slumping a bit as well, but the idea is that many were waiting on polynesian. We won't know for weeks exactly what was sold on day one let alone afterwards.

FW cabins do book up on cash. So I don't think DVD really cares about the slow sales. However, I am very curious if the CFW will be part of the new resort being built on the River Country site. I'm kind of on the fence about wishing for that or not. We are looking at buying points there, and on one hand it would be nice to have 11 mo access to CFW, but with the possibility of 360+ cabins to pay MF's on, those annual dues may still be too high for us to want to own there. 🤷♀️

DVD will not care if the cabins don't sell as long as these new cabins book the way the old ones did. Otherwise they are on the hook for maintenance fees and such like that. With probably about 2% of the resort sold in 9 months, that's still likely less than they hoped. I am hopeful that Reflections will have less issues with amenities and transportation than the cabins have. At least getting to Magic Kingdom will be much easier since the boat dock is right there practically.
