So I'm down at the Falcon and there keeping everyone with light Sabres on the stree where Oga's is. This is awful, was so much fun last year.

I miss Star Wars weekends. They were so fun. Disney has become a bunch of fuddy duddys.

They build the land and say they don't need to promote it any more.......I disagree.

Sorry I don't have a way to post pics from last year to this year. The cast members were looking scared this year. Management must have told them there was going to be trouble or something. The ones who did get in started chanting "Vader,Vader,Vader..." which they did last year too. Disney squashing the magic. The only cool thing to happen by doing it was there were light Sabres lit up all around the park.

Oh and it was pretty busy at AK and Hollywood yesterday. Weekend and the 4th must be a factor. SeaWorld today on military tix. Taking our college program neice with us, she's never been and it's been 28 years for me. Need to check it out for when we take the twin grandsons next year.

Meh. If some asshole decided to act like an idiot, Disney would be accused of lack of crowd control. It’s a no-win. I’m all for shooting to kill such offenders, but unfortunately that’s frowned upon…

Years ago, we stumbled across the Star Wars weekend accidently on a visit that happened to include Hollywood Studios on one May 4. That was such fun! I miss Star Wars weekends.

We went to Hollywood Studios in the afternoon on the 4th. It was really crowded. The line to get into the lightsaber shot was out the door, across the walkway, down the stairs, and around the corner. My son was trying to estimate how much money Disney made on lightsabers that day  Thankfully we got out of there before it got too packed. I saw pictures though. Wow. I'm still disappointed in Disney's adult costume policy for Star Wars though. On the 4th there were soooo many guests who appeared indistinguishable from CMs. I kept pointing at different people and asking Mrs. rowrbazzle if it was a guest or a CM. She got annoyed at me haha but she also couldn't tell. Last year my nieces and nephews took a picture with Finn. Only after he left did we realize there was no handler. He wasn't a CM; just a guy dressed up to look like Finn. I made a report to guest services and the CM said Disney just doesn't really do anything about it. |

The HyperSpaceHoopla Weekends weren’t just a weekend they lasted for a month and were hyper fun for everyone .
And made a lot of $$$ because of all the exclusive collectors items available.
One weekend began as the 24 Hour MK party event ended . That was crazy times for Disney !
They also had a special night to stay in the parks until midnight to Implode Star Tours .
HollyWood Studios at midnight was hot hot hot 🥵 really really hot to stand around and wait wait wait for the dynamite to arrive , I guess.

FessParker1, I hope you had a great time at SeaWorld! Seaworld was fun. We took our college program neice and one of her friends in CP with us. They did the coasters and we checked out the shows and Sesame Place for the grandsons next year. It was good but the parade at Sesame was really loud. It was hot too because we got there about 1:00. We had a little detour to the cast member warehouse where dw filled the shopping cart and yesterday I picked up another suitcase to bring everything home. |
