Wondering if anyone has ever done this themselves vs. going the attorney route. I'd like to add our adult kids as owners and am willing to work on this, but would love to find a clear process. Googling found some sources, but they seem outdated.
Thanks for any guidance.

Googling found some sources, but they seem outdated. Thanks for any guidance. Mary Member Administration (MA) will tell you the process if you call them. It is possible to do it yourself but there will still be costs involved in filing the new deed. Using a title transfer company ensures this is all done correctly with less hassle. MA will suggest who to use but there are reliable and cheaper alternatives.

MA doesn't have a phone number that's answerable -- at least for US based calls. I've emailed. They told me to pay a title company, but nothing else.

If I call DVC I get an option for Member Services and one for Member Accounting. 🤔 I intend to call just to find out about adding DS as one option, because several people told me they can help (they are US based). I’ll see if I can find out.

If you are logged in to DVCMember you will see on the right side More Help Frequently asked questions Contracts and Deeds Making changes to your Deed ( adding or removing name ) …Title Company and then info to update your legal Contract name with member services reminder .
But it helps to see their response in print . Good luck

I noted this info from a year ago when another MagicOwner posted after adding daughter to contract. They used Danny Cohen and used Jeffrey C. Sweet when they purchased a resale contract.. Apparently Mr. Cohen charged $175 per contract.. They also mentioned that the process could not be completed until their current Reservations were completed. I think that was last November trip. Sorry I did not make note of the posters name but my snapshot does show Magicowners.com
