So for the last couple of days, when I go to sign into DVC Member, it goes to a screen asking if I want a code sent to email or text. Once I get the code and plug in the next screen is requiring me to change my password. I don’t want to. I’ve had the same since 2009 and want to keep it (and no, I don’t want any lectures on security blah, blah, blah). Any way of bypassing that?

This will sound really strange … but when I complete typing in my password , I watch it blinking to make sure it has read every letter and then I hesitate for 1 or 2 “blinks “ to finish signing in. Maybe we are typing faster than the computer brain can think ! Haha
And DVCMember site is the only place this occurs online for me . So weird

I got the same thing. I just entered the same password that I was already using and it took that.
I am using an acronym-based password scheme and the extension for Disney made sense. I could have picked a new one to tack on to the base, but I didn't have to.
Cheers.

Same here. It has not asked me to change my password but sometimes it will want to send a text/code to my phone and sometimes I get right in.

Same here. It has not asked me to change my password but sometimes it will want to send a text/code to my phone and sometimes I get right in. In my case, it was actually a Change Password screen. It's just that it accepted my current password as the "changed" password.
Cheers.

Well I tried again and plugged in my password like you did Bruce but gave me an error message saying I can’t use my previous password. So I changed it to get in, then went to account profile and changed it back to my normal one.

We had this issue a week ago and we could never get all the various Disney platforms to sink on the same password. It finally took a chat session with Disney who acknowledged they were having cross platform issues but she was able to be sure the old password was cleared across all of the platforms and then when we entered the new one everything was good.

Ugh!!! Just dealt with this last night for the first time. Thought it might have something to do with us casting Hulu to the resort TVs on our trip last month. So I had to change my original password and hope they all work eventually. Major annoyance.
