We rarely ride Pirates now for that reason. Not a fan of water rides especially when it's humid out. This ride will be down a lot too which is a time killer. I rode Splash twice. The only thing is that now it will have a VQ which might be helpful, but it doesn't change the broken down factor which still destroys plans. That's interesting. I can't remember the last time I got more than a few drops on Pirates. I read that Tiana's will move on to Genie+ with a regular line after a relatively short period of time. I guess the outdoor portion of the ride is an issue with storms, but I would hope that all the time they spent working on it would result in improved reliability over Splash. 🤞 |

it’s not you. They changed Prates so now everyone gets at least a little wet. Worst change ever, though I still want the redhead (or brunette, or blonde…) as well. We canceled a few of our VQs when we had schedules we had to worry about. At least with an ILL if it breaks down you come back whenever works. Not always true of VQs |
