DW and DD are kind of obsessed with taking sunrise and sunset photos, at home and on vacation. Since the sun sets in the west, I can't think of any park locations that would be extra picturesque at sunset. Are there any? They do have some nice photos of the sunsets over the Boardwalk/Swan/Dolphin over the years, and some amazing sunrise (who gets up before dawn on vacation?!?  ) and sunset photos at Vero. |

We are sometimes up before sunrise as it's the best time to run. Enough light and not too hot. Nothing beats running (or even walking) as the sun is rising. We're early-to-bed folks as morning is far more interesting. And less crowded.
Pretty sure I'd have turned down Lestat's offer.

Looking over the Yacht Club is pretty neat. I got a cool one where the lights reflecting from the sky made the water look like it was glowing.
I've had quite a few at MK. The sunset over BTM is very pretty often. I also did a fireworks cruise where we had some amazing shots of the sun setting behind MK and Contemporary. Based on those I bet facing GF would make a pretty sunset as well.
Pandora with the sun setting is lovely too.
Star Wars are at DHS produced some great shots too.

Sunset from Top of the World Lounge works for me! On property this is one of the best I have seen, or the Cali Grill and its observation areas. Personally I would rather have a sunset reservation at Cali Grill than one at Fireworks time. The one other place that I just thought of is the bar patio area at the back of Topolino's. |

Topolino's terrace is a great location. We have found the menu to be lacking, so we're not likely to return, although maybe for a drink and not dinner. Also, we will not be going back to Cali Grill as long as they continue the prix fixe menu.

I don't know when it changed, but the menu is different now vs. when we first ate there a few years ago. We're going again in August.

We often just get one appetizer and a main, or two appetizers, and it looks like they have thing we would like. Last time (maybe a year ago) not so much. could be worth a visit again.

Cheers. I don't know when it changed, but the menu is different now vs. when we first ate there a few years ago. We're going again in August. We ate dinner at Topolino's when it first opened. I liked it, Robin did not.....so we have not been back since for dinner. However, we do go to the breakfast on almost every trip. The lounge at Topolino's has a nice whiskey/bourbon selection, that I noticed over Memorial Day weekend. |
