I currently have a waitlist....for November...have 4 days then we wanted to add on 2 days....we could get the last day but not the one in between darn it. But not wanting to move for a day then come back. So booked 2 nights somewhere else so would need to move for 2 days then wailisted the 2 days though the second one was available....will see what happens . I say 50-50 because of time frame and resort...

I currently have a waitlist for one night at VDH in September. I was only able to book 3 of the 4 nights I needed for my daughter's trip. Hoping the waitlist comes through. I have also been stalking the website daily. Nothing so far. Good luck to you!

Congrats! We have a grand villa at Kidani for four nights in October and we’re waitlisted for Jambo. First time ever in a grand villa. Can’t wait! Think we got a chance? It’s our first time ever trying to waitlist anything. Getting a cancellation notice before a new confirmation would freak me out. Glad I read this just in case we hit.

I wouldn't hope for a swap but you never know. My friends adored the Kidani GV when they stayed though.

Nice!! Congrats! We have been on the waitlist for Boulder Ridge forever - we are reserved at SSR(2BDR) for October. Something tells me it's not going to happen. Our waitlist did come through for our reserved stay back in April (but we were not able to make the trip unfortunately) - any my son was able to book at the 7 month mark for Boulder Ridge too/same week.

Piling on to the waitlist success stories — and I'm still in shock about this one.
We have points at BoardWalk, Grand Floridian, and Riviera. We love being at BoardWalk and enjoy VGF. Our trip for early September was booked at Riviera (9 nights) and we weren’t really looking forward to it. We like to be able to walk to the parks and I just hate waiting for an empty Skyliner gondola to get over to Epcot. It always seems to take forever.
Anyway, sometime in April we decided to waitlist BWV. Since we could have two waitlists, we waitlisted pool/garden and BoardWalk view (studio), which would be two points less than the standard view at RIV. I didn’t think there was a chance of either waitlist coming through, not for 9 nights, but I was willing to eat the two points to be at BoardWalk. Then I started stalking the RAT, and I think that over time every night was available for pool view, but I wasn’t willing to book them one at a time and risk having to move rooms.
This morning I noticed that our Riviera reservation had disappeared from MDE. In a panic, I relinked it and it popped in as BoardWalk. I was sure something was really wrong! Finally I realized that we had gotten the waitlist. We didn’t get any emails, so I had no idea. I checked the points record and found that it happened last week, and whoever filled the waitlist also banked the two leftover points for us, even though our banking window had passed. I was shocked.
So we will happily spend our 20th anniversary at BoardWalk! Woohoo!

We had a waitlist for PVB standard for May 2025 because we booked it late and they were totally booked. DW called today to renew annual passes and CM said the waitlist came through. Yay.

I'm shocked you needed it at all TBH. But I looked for spring break and weirdly everything is wide open outside that first few days of May. Weird really how isolated it is for just standard view. Glad you got it though.
