Yeah, I am glad it worked out. I am most excited about the (non Bungalow) 2 bedroom availability at Poly for my family of 6. So I think I am going to call back and book a few days in June. But that will be the end of my points availability for awhile. Exciting stuff though! I can totally imagine that. We are a family of 3 and have been doing mostly 2 bedrooms for the ability to have 2 bathrooms, but sometimes just for the space. I am thrilled to have legit options for us that aren't smaller rooms (yes we're spoiled). I went all out for a TP view in summer for us, but we might dial it back. Nice to try out a standard view for a short trip too to see what that has to offer. Kid doesn't know yet. We have no plans for PVB in 2026 (kid spring break trip with friends using OKW points and then summer at CCV using our every 3 year allotment). I'm so happy for the options for sure! Congratulations to all who were able to book! You're invited to come check out whenever we are there!

BWV DreaminI saw you posting elsewhere asking about fixed weeks. Let's just say I'm still a person non grata (maybe? so much has changed since the legal issues) so I limit posting there. I already used my yearly allotment recently Here are some stats for you. We only have been able to record 10 days of contracts being sold on the comptroller. I think Milton slowed things up. I saw Oct 1 & 2nd yesterday even being loaded. I think we won't know full sales for a while, but we can get a rough idea by mid Nov of first month of sales. 54,497 points were sold so far. 413 deeds that I found with the average deed size being 132 points. The smallest was 25 and the largest is 700. Some odd numbers out there too. They had said there were only 40 rooms declared. That said, that means one and only 1 2 bedroom dedicated was declared. I booked it on the 15th. It is still showing partial availability the week I am there. So it's muddled to me with what is really available to book. As an FYI there are no dedicated 2 bedrooms outside of theme park view. All will be lock offs otherwise. Moving on from that, there are 5 recorded fixed weeks sold. Tower Studio Theme Park View week 52 Tower Studio Standard View week 50 Tower Studio Standard View week 18 1 Bedroom Theme Park View week 42 1 Bedroom Theme Park View week 50 I hope your guide got back to you, if not I have a good one who is responsive by both email and phone but not pushy.

Well I am not happy with this guide. He did get back to me. Said there were no week 39 FW available. That is a standard studio (114 pts) for FW. On my post ( over there) two people posted they purchased that FW. So, what does this tell me? Also, a mod over there said those weeks aren’t sold ( as weeks) but as points are declared, they can “ make a week on demand” out of the points allocated.
So…… I still won’t know exactly how many FW #39 have been sold, or if that allowed 35% has been met. I’m just at the mercy of my guide saying wait for points to come available and we shall see. Ugg.

Unfortunately, my data can be behind too since it's taking almost 2 weeks to hit the comptroller if not more. I think it's lousy that your guide isn't helping you enough. I appreciated mine drawing up a contract for me quickly and getting it all taken care of when I was finally home. You can always request new guides. Mine was even kind enough to tell me on the 12th that the initial plan to book online was being nixed. If you need a name let me know. He works weekends (but off Thurs & Fridays)

Maybe you will see more data in the next few weeks. Definitely we know 2 FW have sold for week 39. I’ll be curious to know if there are more. That particular week was discussed quite a bit and I saw a lot of interest in that week by others. That particular week happens to fall into the first week of October some years. So having that FW does pose some savings when it does.

So having that FW does pose some savings when it does. Ah I can see why that one is popular. We'll have to wait until Monday for more on the OC Comprtroller site. Some of it will depend on wnen eveything was signed off including notarization. We were going to do the online but canceled it when Milton looked bad. So we did it in person at home and mailed it in. They were up to 2 weeks out for notary appointments as well so it could take a while. I do think there are some number things that aren't making sense to me as well, but not related to fixed weeks (more of total points reported on a CA document) but we need to wait to find out what is really going on. I do think there is some toying with availability because if there truly is just the one dedicated 1 bedroom declared, then why is there spotty availability showing online the week I booked it? It'll take time to figure it all out though. I wasn't really following fixed weeks because as you know I've been building my total points over the years so no need. I don't want to over do my points this close to school changes for us either. So that alone kept me from looking as well. No fixed week makes sense right now for us. But I like watching and seeing. I'm a bit jealous of some of the contracts but I have more than we need. I don't always need 2 bedroom theme parks, but I am so looking forward to our week next year. I moved our PVB longhouse stay in March as well. I just haven't told my kid yet. Good way to test the standard view out since it's only 3 nights and a good way to test a 1 bedroom for longer trips. Just the 2 of us, but adding one more won't change much. I'm curious about storage actually since they have a murphy bed instead of chest of drawers or dresser.

We just booked a PVBT 1BR Theme Park view for my August 2025 birthday weekend. Regular room was going to be 54 points, this ended up as 126. I guess we have 10 months to see reviews and see if we need to change it or not. Lol

The PVB IT booking is for a standard 1 Bed. So 75 to 144 points. We have 4.5 months to find out all the details. I definitely will not be switching though for either trip but I am curious to see where all the room types fall for the IT.

I guess we have 10 months to see reviews and see if we need to change it or not. Lol They really nail you with premium rooms at the premium resorts. In August 2025 2 nights with a 1BR Lake View at GFV is 114, 1BR Theme Park View at BLT is 106, and a 1BR Preferred View at RR is 116. Its only a little more expensive than those are. I have a Theme Park View Studio for 5 nights in January during RunDisney for 138 points. I thought that was a little steep for a studio but mostly in line with similar comps at the resorts I just mentioned. What killed me was the price of a 2 Bedroom Theme Park View. I have 2 nights in April booked before our family goes on our first Disney Cruise. That was 96 points per night. I knew any of the Theme Park View in the Tower would be expensive though. We have stayed in BLT's 2 Bedroom TPV many times, and its around 85 points per night most of the time. I have been on here whining about limited room options at PVB off and one for several years now, so I am not going to complain about point cost yet. If the Tower is a letdown, then I will let loose. LOL I am like helenabear though, and will want to see for myself.

I about died I remember when I looked at a two bedroom preferred view at the Grand Floridian a number of years ago. Though, I did get lucky and got my waitlist for a standard view there instead to save some points. Last spring break we did a one bedroom standard at Riviera and I also felt that was pretty darn high. I guess I've gotten over it since I'm doing this theme park view this summer for PVB IT The premier resorts do command high point prices. I was expecting it at least and I think going to be able to manage these points charts okay especially since the one bedrooms have two bathrooms. If not, I can always find another resale contract

Does anyone know if the walkway from GF to Poly is open or when it will reopen? Thanks Not yet. Assume Dec 17th when PVB IT opens. Parts were being poured last week, but until construction is done, you cannot use it.

On this topic of Fixed Week, I was looking at Helena's data on the FWs that are booked, and I find it surprising that ppl want weeks 50 and 52... Sorcerer pass is blocked out half of week 50, and all of week 52. Folks buying those weeks must be getting Incredi-Pass right?
A few years ago Disney changed the Sorcerer Pass to block out Thanksgiving instead of Spring Break... did that affect people's FWs? If I'd bought a FW prior I'd have been leaning toward TG week 47. Then if the passes changed and Sorcerer was no longer applicable, I'd be pretty annoyed. Having to (forever after) upgrade 6 APs from Sorcerer to Incredi would cost a good $3K per year just in the upcharge.
Side topic-- We found a super cheap round trip in Feb, and then a Duo Studio available for the 4-day weekend, and it qualified for the AP discount! So we booked it and we'll get to check out the Duo Studios this winter. Only drawback is it's Standard View... but $400/nt to get in the new Poly and practically free flight was an awesome find.

Or, maybe they just go once a year for one week. Isn't a 6- or 7-day pass less expensive than an annual pass? I believe it is, even with the park-hopper option added. And, not everyone park hops. In this is the case, then no annual pass would be needed.
