So close and yet so far! I keep looking every few days to see if they're being added. Nothing yet really. I know they're getting there with the room types and such, but no points as you said are being loaded. I'm trying to plan next year's trips, but I can't plan and I don't have a clue how bad points will be lol

Room types listed - just for notes
Tower Duo Studio (sleeps 2): Standard, Preferred, Theme Park Deluxe Studio (sleeps 5): Standard, Lake Tower Deluxe Studio (sleeps 4): Standard, Preferred, Theme Park Tower 1 Bedroom (sleeps 5): Standard, Preferred, Theme Park Tower 2 Bedroom (sleeps 9): Theme Park Tower 2 Bedroom Lock-off (sleeps 9): Standard, Preferred, Theme Park Tower 2 Bedroom Penthouse (sleeps 8): Preferred, Theme Park Bungalow (sleeps 8)
Twice now they are showing 2 bedrooms with theme park view only. That kind of concerns me as one who wanted a 2 bedroom. At least the 2 bedroom lock-offs will have the ability to do any view we want. I want to go back to the floorplan and see if we know which floor the 2 bedroom dedicated was on.
Also to add, this is stated: Please note: "Standard View" or "Preferred/Water View" indicates your location within the Resort and does not impact the type of view you will have from your room.

"Please note: "Standard View" or "Preferred/Water View" indicates your location within the Resort and does not impact the type of view you will have from your room." That doesn't make sense in that it is listed as the 'view'.......??

That doesn't make sense in that it is listed as the 'view'.......?? They're likely doing that for lake views with the old rooms. Lake view at Moorea does not always let you see lake water. But interesting to me is that they lumped the two together. Though price wise I noticed lake and preferred cash prices are the same so thinking lake & preferred will be the same cost. That was my guess months ago byt still...

Any history from other resorts to go by?

Points could be leaked at the rate they're going (joking.... kinda)

New update from one of my Polynesian sites. I'm very disappointed they are opting for a gym over a CH. Therey need one for both VGF and PVB: Today, the Orange County Conptroller website shows the Island Tower being amended into the existing DVC Polynesian Villas and Bungalows association. They declared some rooms from the first, second, third, seventh, and ninth (penthouse floor) rooms. Polynesian resort will finally have a fitness room located on the first floor, near the pool, of the Island Tower. There is no information on when sales will start. However smart people with construction/blueprint experience could give us information on what all is included. There is definitely an indoor/outdoor table service restaurant on the first floor. ETA: just found this too dvcnews.com/wdw-resorts/polynesian/5971-polynesian-island-tower-units-declared-into-condo-association?They will have pocket gardens.... good views I imagine

There is definitely an indoor/outdoor table service restaurant on the first floor. Are you sure? I have not seen anything for a table service restaurant there.
I am only expecting an enhanced quick service, similar to Riviera's Primo Piatto, with bar service to the pool too. By enhanced I mean it has a built-in coffee bar/pastry, grab & go, alcohol.

That was a quote from others, not my words. So I am not sure of a lot lol. There has always been talk of the super modern kitchen it will have. I am picturing more like Geyser Point (now called table service vs quick serve which is honestly more accurate) with indoor and outdoor options. So a mash up of WL and RR options for more casual dining. But this was deciphered by someone based on declarations. I'm getting really itchy for point charts. We have zero plans next year because I need numbers.

Patience.....you will be able to spend your money soon!

Patience.....you will be able to spend your money soon! I already spent money on a contract that should do good for us for a while at least after adding to our current PVB holdings. I just cannot even book spring break until I know. And kid is asking for PVB there too *sigh* I can see the restaurant being kind of its own level. I do think it'll be more casual than most. Moderately priced items (thinking Geyser Point, Grand Floridian Café, Olivia's, Kona etc) and a to go option. But we'll hopefully see soon.
