This might belong in the stupid question thread but does the Poly Tower have dedicated 2 bedrooms or just lock offs? I hope they have the dedicated…question I should have asked before I purchased Poly points.

I hope they have the dedicated…question I should have asked before I purchased Poly points. Only the theme park views and the all the penthouse two bedrooms will be dedicated. The theme park views for the regular two bedroom will also have the choice between dedicated and lock off. If you want a standard or preferred view, it will be a lock off only.

Looks like it’s a bit of a mixed bag. Thanks for the reply.

I admit I am a bit disappointed that they couldn't do more dedicated for different views as well, but in the end it's going to be okay for us and how we travel. We've done Boardwalk enough to be good with having that kind of a setup and actually as my kid gets older, having a lock off might be better for us anyway. The big one for us with this resort is having two bathrooms in a one bedroom. That will allow us to stay in one bedrooms more often than not anyway.

I don’t understand the Poly Island point chart. Some of the Duo studio categories cost more points than the standard Deluxe studios. Will the standards be that bad? I am considering a FW as well.

I know!!! Nothing like those new IT studio layouts. Only sleeps 4 that is the only drawback. Week #39 standard studio best bang for the points chart. That’s what I’m waiting to see if opens up. What week you looking at?

What week you looking at? Week 39 is definitely a great week! I think the standards could be looking at prison walls and still be tough to get. Location, location, transportation. I am considering Week 36. I want closer to Labor Day week. And FW starts end of August. I only purchase now if FW interests me. 114 points for a Poly week is very interesting. Especially when the Duo studio weeks start at 112+.

I am considering a FW as well. the views are always going to be a massive "price jump" so to speak. I think they really do an incredible mark up. On the monorail facing side, you will have the parking lot and monorail in front of you for standard. So think lower floors for RR or BLT and a few like VGF truthfully. There are some equally lousy BCV and BWV too as well. Though weirdly at BCV they are just all the same at least BWV standards that view the road are lower points. Granted a few of the views at BRV are kind of lousy as well but all same points. Some of the AKL standard aren't great either (some are fine though). I think it will be better than Pago Pago standard views that face the parking lot as this will be closer to the monorail to enjoy that. Unlike Pago Pago there shouldn't be first floor rooms facing the parking lot. To me those at PVB are the worst standard ones and why I tend to avoid booking standard there just in case. Though I've been lucky and gotten all garden or path facing rooms.

Especially when the Duo studio weeks start at 112+. We usually go that last week of Sept. Some years week 39 will roll into first week of October, which could be a cost savings when that happens. So far week #39 is not available to purchase. Will have to wait and see if anything opens up. DVCQUEEN

Okay BWV Dreamin80,387 points have been sold so far since Oct 1st. I am *still* seeing Oct 1 being recorded along with other sales from the first week of dates. Milton really put a damper on things I think for some things. It's not crazy phenomenal compared to some others, but it's not awful either. My guess on Tom's Poll was at least 115,999 points sold in the first month. I think it will get that. So we'll see how sales continue to go. Public sales started on the 29th and while 100 is the minimum buy-in, but I think most will do at least 150 for perks. Fixed weeks: Week 1: 1 Bedroom Standard View 275 points Week 6: Studio Theme Park View 232 points Week 39: Studio Standard View 114 points Week 42: 1 Bedroom Theme Park View 466 points Week 48: Studio Standard View 150 points Week 50: Studio Standard View 153 points 1 Bedroom Theme Park View 426 points Week 52: Studio Theme Park View 381 points I question what fixed weeks are really available after seeing the 2 week 50s but that's just me. Keep in mind this is what can be found on the OC Comptroller. I did find one deed that had no date on it, and one that didn't initially have PVB in the remarks. I am trying to take time to recheck dates and such but obviously the last couple of days are very recent in my rechecks.

Ok there should still be room for more. What will standard studios be looking at again? Location? Thanks for all your hard work!
