Can I ask what S, P and TP mean at the top columns? S = Standard P = Preferred (this includes the lake views for the original PVB rooms) TP = Theme Park There is a fourth as well PM - which is for premium. This will be for the duo rooms only who may have a glimpse of the theme park but not a great view of it. I am looking forward to what incentives they may be offering with the initial sales. I also have current PVB contracts but never hurts to explore! To be honest I'm not counting on a big amount of incentives. Mostly because of the levels that they were taking contracts for rofr earlier this year. They were taking as high as $168. I don't think that the incentives will be great if they're taking it at that high. I also don't think that $225 will last longer than a few weeks.

I think the on Oct 1st, with incentives the final pricing for 200 points will be $200pp. I also think that the base price per point will go up to $235 at the end of the year or sooner.

There is speculation that it will be $235 by the end of October. Many of us caught that the amount at the bottom in the teeny tiny fine print is pointing to $225 not lasting long. I'm going to be bolder here and guess that maybe an additional $10 to $15 off for incentive with higher point purchases. Again, that's based on ROFR numbers from earlier this year. I struggle to believe that Disney would ROFR PVB and make only 25 to $30 on it. I would be happy to be wrong for those who need larger point amounts. Based off of my pre-2024 purchases with PVB, I really was looking for 100 to 150 max anyway. Just to supplement what I add purchased between 2015 and 2018. I'm not going to be bummed if there are incentives higher than that, because I doubt I'm going to see them for anything under 100 points anyway. I'm still considering another 25 points or more. But, that's me being a little greedy about where I want to stay (boy theme park views are really calling me). I am definitely fine for next year's trip. Actually, both of the trips I have planned are at PVB. I have a feeling more and more trips will be there, but I still have my OKW points I got to use somewhere. Hopefully one bedrooms will be easily findable at least - eventually that is.

VDH gave a $22 incentive off a $230 price for a 200 point purchase. So, I'm with helenabear in guessing $10-$15 to push the price down to $210-$215.

I'm happy to be wrong but it's my gut instinct on this one. They could totally go back in history and not do any incentives. I really don't think they would but if they mean $225 to start and jumping to $235 Oct 29, I wouldn't put it past them to do incentives from $235 either with a generous $10 discount for all for 4 weeks.

Can I ask what S, P and TP mean at the top columns? The key for those is in the upper left corner of the points chart. I wondered the same thing and then found the key.

Here is one last question - I have 5 nights booked at Grand Floridian that I plan to try to move to Poly Tower. I have like 6 contracts. Five are Poly and one is GF. I just checked, and I used GF points for my January stay. So when I try to switch will I be able to use GF points since I am a Poly owner, or do you expect only Poly points can be used until bookings open up for everyone?

Since initial bookings will only be open to those with Polynesian points, I’m sure you will only be able to use your Poly points to make a reservation.

The rooms are realy clean and nice but just seam to be lacking that Disney feel.
The GF resort rooms are just about Disney enough with some very clever Poppins theming. But the new Poly rooms just feel like they are lacking.

Just like you cannot use VGF points for PVB stays inside the 11 month mark now, you will not be able to use VGF points until at least November 19 when they open to all owners. The first month of booking will be PVB only. Then after that it will follow the 7 and 11 month rules. The rooms are realy clean and nice but just seam to be lacking that Disney feel. The GF resort rooms are just about Disney enough with some very clever Poppins theming. But the new Poly rooms just feel like they are lacking. To each their own but I prefer less IP in my face. This has a lot of touches from Moana though from subtle art like the sting ray in the kitchen, the boats in the artistry, the floral design by the tub. It also is hailing from original Polynesian designs they had back in the 60s. Some will love it and others will not. I like the lighter colors myself. PVB longhouse rooms can be a bit dark.

For me, based on what I have seen so far, the Poly Tower looks amazing!
I am still not a fan of how the tower fits into the overall Poly Resort. But just looking at the Tower on its own, I can not wait to stay there next year.
That all said, I am still not buying. If I do buy anything, it will be more Riviera and work the 7 month booking window.

But just looking at the Tower on its own, I can not wait to stay there next year. Agree on both counts. The renderings so far look very nice, but the tower itself is, so far, an eyesore that does not fit Poly or the locale.
We're not likely to stay in any case since VGF is a better location for MK - should we decide to venture again from the Boardwalk, so no reason to stay at Poly. But it will be fun to visit in which case we can experience the majority of the new beauty as rooms are just rooms and the location is mediocre.
Cheers.

I agree it doesn't totally fit with the remainder of the resort, but it very much fits with original ideas of it, so I can live with it lol. They really had so many different ideas as to what the Polynesian was supposed to look like and I think time and money was why they scrapped the big tower idea and went with a much smaller central house. I do think it would be nice if it were more centralized and then long houses on either side, but I don't see how they could have done that without destroying the majority of the resort and really probably pissing off longstanding Polynesian fans.
I am still debating on adding a very tiny contract. I am still a bit sad that my first resale contract I tried to go for this year, that had 135 points was taken by Disney. I'm still appalled at that one because it was not a cheap contract. But, I'm glad I got what I did when I did and if I really want 25 to 50 more points, I can do that on my own time. But, I have every plan on staying there the majority of the time, so having an 11-month window will eventually be important to me. Do you think that we have enough points for what I want minimum every year, but I become a view hog and that's what's tripping me up. It might be wise to wait on this and see what the views really are before it decide if I really do need a few more points. We have enough for a week stay in a standard view every year. And I know we have Copper Creek that will be rotated in every 3 years. So it might just be wise to wait and see

Definitely looking forward to visiting, with some random stays I'm sure.
For what it's worth I'd hold off to see what the views are actually like. I'm sure they'll be amazing from some areas but unfortunately less so from others. Much like BLT, how rooms are classified will be key.
