For a 9 PM show, what time does the viewing area open, and how long prior to the opening of the viewing area should we plan to arrive?

As I recall, the viewing area opens about an hour before showtime. When I've gone, there is hardly anyone at opening. People start showing up about 40 minutes prior to showtime and the crowds increase as 9PM approaches.
Disclaimer - I've never watched WOC on super busy days. So, on those days, it could be more of a madhouse. If you want to be sure, it would be best to ask a cast member the day you are there.

If there are two shows the later show is usually way less crowded. Center left is the best viewing.
