Dates for sailing and booking have been leaked for the Disney Destiny. The ship's theme will be heroes & villians.
Disney newest ship is scheduled to start sailing in December of 2025, out of its home port of Miami.
Bookings will open to the public Friday August 9th, 2024. Expect sales for Pearl, Platinum, Gold, Silver to be Aug 5th-8th. before the general sales.

I saw that Dec 2025 date on one of the promotional emails I got because I thought 'that's the same time frame as the Treasure' but thought the dates were already known.

Oh boy, oh boy! The Lion King is one of my all time favorite Disney Movies! I can not wait to be King.....I mean see this!  A colorful ensemble of live musicians and storytellers will take the stage to present a musical journey through the award-winning soundtrack as you dine. During special intervals throughout the meal, the band and performers will revisit the iconic songs from “The Lion King” using authentic African instruments and theatrical props to represent the story and characters. Audiences will delight in:
Productions of “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata;”
A mash-up of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared,” a fun take that highlights the hero-villain dynamic of the story;
An instrumental version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” paired with a beautiful interpretive dance; and
A moving rendition of “He Lives in You” from the sequel film and Broadway show.
A uniquely themed Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King menu will underscore beloved music during this soulful celebration of family and Simba’s journey to embrace his destiny.

I am stoked about the new "Edna Á La Mode Sweets" on the Destiny.
Edna Mode’s lab, where the famed fashion designer from Pixar Animation Studios’ “The Incredibles” films whips up outfits for the world’s most famous Supers, will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind confectionary at the brand-new Edna Á La Mode Sweets aboard the Disney Destiny.
Even though this does not say it, I am sure this will be an upcharge venue. I am ok with that. We just sailed on the Magic and commented that the desserts were just ok, but i get that its hard to make really good desserts when you have make them for the thousands of people. When we sailed on NCL, they had a similar shop and I preferred their treats over the included treats.

And lastly.....Those Staterooms are so nice, in my opinion, especially the suites. Verandah Stateroom  Royal Suite Bathroom.....WoW!  There are more pics in the link that Eeyorelover22 posted above. |

Topped with their scooped vanilla ice cream. Yummy. I agree though...overall Disney doesn't always score high with desserts. I will say though that they changed the key lime pie in Marvel and it's very good now. Not everyone's favorite but on our first sail on the Wish it was not very good. |

I would encourage you to ask for it. It is exceptional. You might be able to have someone obtain one for you after all! It's probably one of the best desserts we have ever had. 30 DAYS!!!!  |
