Guys, not sure where to put this so decided on Chit Chat but if it belongs somewhere else please move.
Scenario..my Disney Princess turns 18 in September 2025 (for you long timers you may remember she was 6 months old when I joined MouseOwners and was looking for my girl to grow up Disney (CHECK!))
So, she has been saying she wants to go to England/Scotland/Ireland for a while now and I am thinking I may try to make that happen next September and am interested in using some of our SSR points to do so...
Question. How do I research II? When I click on the link in DVC it appears to want me to deposit points before I search. I am thinking a total of 12 days with maybe 4 in Ireland, 4 in London, and 4 in Scotland (not sure which City or area yet).
So, any instruction on use and research for II would be greatly appreciated.

Once the Interval site loads, click on "Resort Directory".

I'm hoping someone can chime in as I looked at II a bit ago. It did seem like you had to keep searching as things pop up at various time points. I was able to see resorts without depositing points. It all seemed a bit nebulous, though. I worried that my points would really be undervalued for what I was potential going to get. In the end, it seemed better to just rent you points (go through a broker if you don't want to do it yourself) and pay cash for a guaranteed reservation at a facility where you want to stay rather than hoping something pops up.

First....Wowzers, thanks for the reminder of how fast time is flying by.
Second, don't use II for trades with DVC. Rent your points and pay cash to rent a stay. II inventory is limited for DVC use and in Europe, your choices are even more limited. Also, using II, you will be making an exchange for a week stay, on set check-in days. I would rather have the flexibility of days at my location.
Lastly, in almost every case, you will be either over paying with your points or trading down. If you want to rent a timeshare, go to redweek.com and look at places, weeks available and rates. Compare that to the points you will need to use to book thru II.

Ok, this is the information I was trying to determine. Also, she may choose the Aulani option from my other question instead of Ireland/Scotland....

I have been to both locations, both are wonderful for entirely different reasons.
You have time to think about it. The travel time to Hawaii is twice as long as Scotland/Ireland.
