I love the sponges in the DVC resorts and am trying to find them in the stores. Does anyone know who manufactures them or where I can find a link to buy them? TY:)

I have one under my sink, that I brought home a few years ago, brand new!
If I recall, aren't they more of a "smooth foam" rather than "normal sponge"? And the scrubby side is...less scrubby. Definitely not a green scrotchbrite pad.
The shape is super cute

People claim they are same as ones found at dollar tree. I cannot confirm that though

hmm....will have to check the dollar store. I love the scrubby side does not scratch pans, but works well - both sides work well. its not a the green scrotchbrite.

Ha! I thought DH was the only one who loves these. Friends and family who uses DVC has one assignment from us…. Bring back the sponge for DH. Some have even brought back multiples for him asking a CM with the cart for extras.

IMO Disney's missing a market here. They should sell the sponges, soaps, shampoo, etc. in the mercantile. I would certainly buy them, and bet I'm not the only one.

The ones at dollar tree are cheaper as an FYI. Someone tested them side by side and found the better value in the dollar tree ones. Also a brillo basics scrub square is a good value too and identical to Sponge Daddy. I've seen many different reviews on tik tok and such. IMO Disney's missing a market here. They should sell the sponges, soaps, shampoo, etc. in the mercantile. I would certainly buy them, and bet I'm not the only one. They used to sell shampoos and such at least. I think since H2O went under they stopped though.

I know for a fact the yellow sponges were on Ebay because I would save them up and give them to my daughter to sell (wanted her to keep the $). They sold very quickly. At the time, we were doing quite a few split stays and many trips so we had a stash to give her. We haven't been moving to other resorts so I keep the one we get now. Love it.
So, check Ebay if anyone is looking for them.

They used to sell shampoos and such at least. I think since H2O went under they stopped though. H2O+ didn't go under, the Japanese company (Pola Orbis Holdings, LLC) that was making the product discontinued the line. Disney bought the formulas, so what's in the rooms now is basically the same product. I've seen some comments where people claim it's not exactly the same, but I haven't seen any difference. I guess they could start selling it again if they decided to.

It wasn't thriving well enough to keep that division open. Hence my choice with saying it went under. Divisions within parent companies can fail all the time without the parent company itself being in trouble. Happened in my dad's company too. His division went under, parent company kept going. Anyway I noticed a change last time I tested it. Less assaulting to my senses. Still not good IMO. If they used what Marriott uses I'd be in heaven. This probably still uses SLES which I'm baffled with.

I'm one of the few that loves the H2O+ soaps they give, I take them home as the skin on my hands is very happy with that formula. (My sink drain less so) I opened a little box from my stash recently, and didn't think anything of it for a few days, but I felt like I couldn't smell my delicious OKW soap smell as much. Thought maybe I was getting used to it after several years. Then I noticed the box I opened didn't have the h2o+ logo on it, whereas the last one I opened did. It also is made in a different location. So I decided the formulas aren't quite the same! Very similar though.
