May an existing member who bought direct purchase a small direct supplement of a few points (under the 150 minimum for new owners) from Disney, and list someone as co-owner who is not on their original contract? Say, someone bought BWV in the 1990s in sole perpetuity. Calls a DVC guide and asks to buy 25 points at DRR, listing their son as co-owner. Would DVC sell this contract?

If the listed owners are different, it will be a new membership and must meet the current new purchase minimum point requirement.

Thank you. Now, let's say listed owners are the same. Can they buy a supplement of say, 25 points and list someone as beneficiary? So that, eventually a next of kin will own this direct contract.

You could add the other person to the original contract and then they could be on all additional purchases. We just did that with my sister-in-law and niece,,,just in case...
Cheers.

No. You have to purchase in the name on the contract, otherwise considered a new purchase and requires the 150 minimum. You could purchase in your name then retitle after the purchase
