We decided to fit in a 3 night stay at the end of October. I found a studio at Copper Creek - one of the few DVC places we have yet to stay. I am really looking forward to trying something different. What do all of the Copper Creek veterans like most about the resort?

We like the lobby, which is the WL lobby; you use the elevators in the lobby to go to your room no going out in the rain {though with BR, it is covered}; the fact Geyser Point is right there and fun to hang out, and the direct boat to MK. We stayed at the cabins there once in Jan 2020 before COVID-19 on MLK weekend, and we LOVED it. We own there so bias but ....I do not love the galley kitchen in the 1 BR if I had 1 complaint, but it's not a deal breaker since we only do breakfasts and heat up leftovers.

We had lunch at Geyser Point in July. It's a nice setting. The food was good.

We love walking around the resort. It feels so far away from everything even though it is so close to MK. Roaring Forks is good for quick service and sitting in front of the large firepalce in a rocking chair is so relaxing. Also the waterfall from the stream coming out of the lobby is nice. Also if you head over to the BRV they have a nice relaxing space with a car from Walt original train that he used to ride at his house in his yard.

We just our first stay at CCV in March, this past year. I LOVED it. Resort is just so pretty. On a previous trip, we'd taken the boat over to Geyser Point for lunch. Delicious bison burger, and margarita flights. In March, I did a mobile order for bison burgers, as soon as the app would let me, like a little before 11. Pickup was easy, and burgers so good. DD really enjoyed the pool. DS and I didn't take any pool time, but it looked nice. The water elements are very nice, We went over to Ft Wilderness to the Tri Circle D ranch, just to look at the horses, something I"ve wanted to do for a while. I thought boat transportation to the parks was easy, and breezy. A couple times had several mins of a wait, in the full sun, on the docks though, so be prepared for sun while waiting. Path to the boat dock is good though, shady. We had a 1 bedroom, and I loved the decor and layout. Idk what the studios are like, but the 1 bedroom was fabulous! Only did a bus back from Epcot, and it did take a while. First waited for a second bus there, then went to the Ft first, so a bit of journey. Hope you have a great stay!!

Thanks all....I am thinking of going over to Ft Wilderness to Tri Circle D. We have talked about doing that for a long time and just never seem to work it in! Geyser Point for sure.... That area is such a different atmosphere. We have stopped in years ago to see the lobby, and we did tour the cabins. Envious of those who stayed there - they are beautiful. I do want to spend some time at F&W so the trek to Epcot might not be ideal. We have been renting cars lately so that might be helpful.

I Love CCV. Purchased points there when it first went on sale - but do not stay there often due to kids and DH preferring the epcot side. The rooms are decorated appropriately and do not look like a Marriott room. Also love whispering canyon - great food and wait staff - great place to eat! When we stay there, we usually are relaxing and spending more time at the resort or magic K.

We loved the lobby, the River Grille and the QS Roaring Forks. The villas seem roomy. The sound proofing between the villas is fine however the people in the hallway sound like they're standing in your villa with you but it's not often. Next year I'm hoping to stay a few nights in the cabins.

We just like how chill the resort feels as a whole. We enjoy walking around the area and being able to boat over to Fort Wilderness and contemporary. I really enjoy just walking around the entire resort area and looking at all the minor details. There are two Hidden Mickey scavenger hunts that really take you into various parts of the different area that I enjoy doing even though I know where they are now. The food that Geyser Point is pretty darn good too

Loved Copper Creek the two times we recently stayed there. We usually don't care for 1st floor rooms so were hesitant when we got the first floor opposite the back entrance to the Mercantile. We ended up loving the one bedroom there and the location. So convenient.
I really liked the layout of the one bedroom as it was so different with its nooks, crannies and storage areas. I even liked the kitchen arrangement. Adored the decor. I did get slightly tired of taking the boat (though do like the boats) as we are used to staying at BWV/BCV and so close to Epcot. Still, would stay at Copper Cr in a heartbeat.

Yet another vote for Geyser Point.
Territory Lounge is an excellent option as well, usually on the quieter side.
I've done many a breakfast at Whispering Canyon, quite good.
Perhaps you and Jack would like a veteran to show you around at some point...

Not a Copper Creek veteran but have owned at BRV for over twenty years and it remains our favorite resort. I agree with what everyone else has already said, love Geyser Point, Territory Lounge, taking the boat over to Fort Wilderness, and the laid back atmosphere. I’ll add that we like to watch the Electrical Water Pageant from there too. It’s so nostalgic!

I Totally agree with all the forementioned comments!! Wilderness Lodge for us has been the greatest resort on property! We are Boulder Ridge DVC owners and have loved staying there for many years.

Copper Creek and BR are still on our "to do" list. Have been able to visit the resort but never had the luck to get a reservation there. Someday....
