I just saw this in my email. I don't plan to go in 2025 (although that's always subject to change!) so posting more for others. Hoping many MOs get to go and have a blast!!!

2025 MOONLIGHT MAGIC EVENT DATES ARE HERE!

Get ready for another year of Disney Vacation Club® Moonlight Magic events! Join us for no-charge, after-hours gatherings across select Disney Parks and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. These enchanting, made-for-Members evenings are for eligible* Members and their guests to experience that magical feeling of Membership with shorter-than-usual wait times, character greetings, entertainment and delectable delights!

PLUS, we’ve extended Moonlight Magic in 2024, with additional events at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park on October 24, 2024, November 21, 2024, and December 10, 2024.

I've never done one of these. For the first time, I can actually make one of the dates. I checked online for the typical hours and it seems these things start pretty late (like 10PM or so). Yikes! That is past my bedtime. I might have to make an exception to try once.

Typically, you can enter the park using just the Moonlight Magic event registration 2 hours prior to regular park closing. The event doesn't officially start until 30 minutes after the park has closed. CMs will be checking for event specific wristbands starting at regular park closing and only allow those with a wristband to enter ride queues.

I think I will be able to go to the July 17th Moonlight Magic. I had a trip scheduled for June, but was able to change it to July with no issues. Same point cost as well! This would be my first Moonlight Magic. I am excited! 😊

We'd almost make the DHS September date, but we're waiting until after Labor Day to go for (somewhat) reduced crowds. Cheers.

I know I’ve been able to look ahead more than 2 months in advance, so what am I missing?

I don’t think they’re releasing them as far in advance as they used to.

Is a DVC party in California attended more lightly than a party in Florida? I would assume DVC is a much smaller presence there.

Back when ADRs were bookable 6 months in advance, park hours were also released 6 months out. Now that ADRs are 60 days, park hours are only released a little more than 60 days out.

Oooh, the January date would work for me at DHS! Maybe I could convince my mom to try one night in the parks and if not, I'd be happy going solo. Wrinkle is: we're staying at the Swan, so an extra degree of difficulty in trying to secure registration. Well, I'll give it a shot and see how it goes.
