Did you say you hopped a bus from AK to DHS? I thought buses do not go park to park?

I swear last time we were there, they only go park-to-park at certain times of the day. Maybe that was a few years ago and now it's back, I don't know.
I DO know that last time I was there, they don't bus from parks to Springs. Never did they bus Springs to Park but now they don't do Park to Springs. So you wanna call it quits at Epcot come 7pm and bus to Springs to get some Blaze Pizza or Chicken Guy? Sorry.
This has led to us saying "Let's bus to French Quarter and eat!" which was fun, but then after that, getting the bus from POFQ to DS then waiting for the bus to your resort, not so fun.
I mean, I was okay, but tired and hot wife, not so much

When park hopping was restricted, park to park buses were as well. Even now they say starting at 10am but it was worse earlier.

Congratulations again on retirement!! sounds like a wonderful getaway. I hope we get spam when we try the Hawaii booth, not ham. In all our trips, I've never gotten the Belgian waffles. I might try those this go-round. they sound yummy! Thanks for sharing the fun.

Congrats! We were disappointed with Communicore as well. After seeing what it could be, it is just a big empty hall with a little merch and food. Boo!

Congrats on the retirement. I did a year ago September 15th, celebrated with 17 days at WDW, and loving every day of not worrying about work.

Thank you for the Trip Report. Loved reading it.
We like a lot of the same things. I use my (old) AK garbage can salt & pepper shakers every day. Bought them the first year they were out and they are orange (of all things). They definitely aren't fancy but they do make me smile. I actually replaced them with a really nice set and DH said "I like the Garbage Cans better".
We have eaten at Shiki-Sai 4 times and loved it each time. When we eat there, I feel like we're not in the Crazy-ville of Disney. My fave Food & Wine item is Hawaii sliders. Have it twice each trip.
I do miss my other fave which I can't remember the name. It was a flatbread with cauliflower of all things and honey. It was in some kind of "Bee" kiosk. Looked for it in May to no avail.
Definitely have been disappointed in BW Bakery much too many times and have crossed it off our list. Among other things, didn't like the Italian sandwich.
Leaving in 2 weeks for Disney and actually holding my breath. We have had some beauty of storms while there in Sept, including Hurricane Ian while staying BWV. Yikes...in all the insane amount of years I've been going (literally since WDW opened...stayed at Contemp & Poly), we've never ever had a trip like that. Cast members were unbelievably wonderful and the experience will never be forgotten.
I have apprehension ending this post because I tried to answer one recently and it didn't send. I'm old and you can't teach an *old dog new tricks. I really need to look at the instructions what I'm doing wrong. Never had that problem before ever.
*Loved that series on Hulu!
PS: If something weird comes up, ignore. It's just me not knowing what I'm doing.

Honey Beestro. It's across from what used to be a Starbucks, on that pathway that leads to/from Imagination/Land/Seas.

YES!!! It wasn't there for F&G. I'll look for it in 2 weeks but I don't remember seeing it on the kiosk menus posted online.
Thanks.
